First appointment - the representative typed in the wrong address on the work ticket. Instead of calling my mobile number to see why nobody was answering the door, the technician simply left. Second appointment - Called to reschedule first thing the next day. They could only accommodate a morning appointment, despite the fact that they entered the wrong address the day before. My tenant rearranged her schedule in order to make the 8am-12pm appointment work. Nobody showed up. I called to speak to someone at Sears and asked for the dispatch department. I’m still on hold…. Doesn’t look like anyone is showing up. Needles to say, I will never be using Sears for appliance repairs in the future.

The diagnosis proved to be incorrect. It wasn’t the MCU but the motor itself. Wasted additional time and $$$ Also - there is no report outlining what was even done to know how or even if it was diagnosed.

horrendous and i definitely don't recommend to anyone! In this day in age where there's so many companies focused on customer satisfaction, sears has to rate the lowest amongst anyone i've dealt with in a long time. Horrible. First of all, $100 to even come out and look at appliance. They come out, and within 10 minutes they are able to diagnose a problem. Not bad, but they DID NOT HAVE the part! so, have to reschedule. only problem is, they don't have anything within 10 days! Pathetic. Charged an additional $125 for a product that only cost $15 online. On top of that, they cancelled the appointment that they had rescheduled me for! Well, *sarcasm* lucky for me they provide a 4 hour window for each appointment, and they are only open 9-6 (normal work hours) so i'd have to take off work to make the appointment. So it's now been 25 days of waiting for them to fix my stupid dryer. Luckily, they shipped the part to my house (dryer switch) and i was able to replace it myself. Will never recommend to anyone.

Disappointing service. Tech diagnosed a cracked tray as the source of my refrigerator leak. He said that if the tray wasn’t the issue, Sears would send him back out, even though they weren’t doing the repair (replacing a tray is cheap and doesn’t require technical know-how - it’s easier than changing a light bulb). Turns out that the tray wasn’t the source of the leak (in hindsight it’s clear the tech wanted to get out of there and didn’t do a thorough job), but the way Sears handles the issue was unsatisfactory. They wouldn’t send a new tech unless I paid an additional service fee, which I refused. What all potential customers should know is that there is no way your service issue will be handled by a stakeholder (someone who works in a store or could talk to face-to-face). You’ll only be able to talk to an outsourced representative who has to follow a script and doesn’t have the latitude to make basic customer service concessions. My advice is don’t use this service.

I don’t know how to read him he came in and looked at it for maybe three minutes and said it was be over $600 to replace the door because it was frozen or I could take everything out for two days and let it defrost I paid him $115 and he left.... follow-up.... I took a blow dryer tonight for 10 minutes and now the water is flowing freely… It’s been $115 with you guys for absolutely nothing thanks
