The customer service provided by both technicians was Outstanding! On-time courteous and knowledgeable. The price paid for the repair I feel was overpriced because to purchase a new washing machine of same make model or comparable would have been about the same price. The washer was not repaired. It’s still shakes vigorously and bangs against the wall so bad it slide at least a foot away and has made a dent in the wall. Parts were replaced? But still no repair was done. I would provide a video, but only photos can be uploaded

Our washing machine was leaving dirt streaks on our clothes. When Alfredo opened the machine he said we need to replace a part that would cost almost $1,000. I went ahead and ordered the part because I trusted he knew what he was talking about. But, before the part arrived I took upon myself to try to clean the part that was supposed to be replaced and found the machine work fine just from just doing that. I don't know if Alfredo was trying to scam me or if he didn't know better. But, I can not recommend him. He would have cost us $1,000 for an unnecessary repair.

More than a month ago (June 11th) they came out to repair my washer and dryer. They ordered parts and came back to finish the repairs. After the washer was repaired it still did not work. I have scheduled an appointment to fix the washer a number of times. Each time they have not showed and listed the appointment as cancelled the next day. Their AI system which is the only way to talk to them does not recognize the washer was repaired and cancels the orders. No matter what phone number you try to call, it goes to AI.

He was good but I will Never Never use Sears Home Service again. My floor is damaged and refrigerator was not replaced fully. And I was overcharged with no way to call Sears bc it’s all AI. Terrible.

Once the repairman arrived, he was very nice. I should say that he was more than an hour late outside of his estimated window. He didn't seem too interested in diagnosing the oven once he saw the age of it. But I made him stay and help. I had a feeling that the thermostat was the problem since the last tenant had left it on too long and it had likely burnt out but I wanted to get confirmation and a diagnosis from a professional to make sure . I got the impression he would just rather take the $129 and be done for the day, by saying that the oven was too old and just get a new one. He was pushing the oven light button but didn't realize that the oven light bulb was in good working condition for the test. I looked inside the oven and noticed it was burnt out I was silently wondering what he was doing, and questioned his ability to diagnose. So I made him make sure that the oven was actually plugged in, and that we tried new light bulbs in it. He didn't have any light bulbs for an oven with him so I went and got one from my extra bulbs. The bulb that was in there was burned out, so I don't know why he was expecting it to go on?? He kept saying it was the thermostat but had not yet diagnosed anything . After testing the bulb he determined and diagnosed that it was the thermostat that was the error. But he refused to take off the other oven cover panel to make sure that there were no other issues beyond the thermostat . I believe there is a total of 12 screws or so, but he wouldn't do it. I wanted to make sure that there was no other issues beyond the thermostat so basically this was kind of a wasted money appointment where I really didn't get all the diagnosis I paid for, $129. He looked up the thermostat part number online. However, Kenmore is no longer making the parts with their brand, it's now made by GE. But he gave me Kenmore part number and it said no longer existed, And of course it doesn't exist because GE is making it now! So I asked him to find the new manufacturer but he basically blew me off, saying that it's no longer manufactured. Am I the only one who's ever repaired any appliance, fix the car, or had to find alternate sources or the new manufacturer or any type of part? I think that it's common knowledge that other companies can manufacture a part. Isn't there something called AutoZone for cars for example? He didn't seem to understand that since Kenmore was absorbed by GE that GE was making the parts. Once he left, I spent about 10 minutes on Google, and was able to locate the new GE manufacturing part number for the thermostat. I looked a dealer online and I saw that it's available for about $350. The repairman had said that any thermostat replacement would cost at least $800, but none were available and could not be replaced, And he said he couldn't help. Laughable appointment at this point.. . I felt The Sears repairman was condescending, not willing to help, and actually didn't really know his business, And I had now lost confidence in this person and service. So again it seemed to me that the Sears repairman wasn't even really interested in helping out, but was more interested in leaving and being done for the day, collecting the $129 fee and on his way home. It would be great to get a refund or at least a partial credit for the condescending treatment, poor and incomplete advice, and incomplete diagnostic.

Worst service ever They’ve been giving us a run around for almost 3 months 11 appoints 2 cancel appointments by the techs after us being home all day and my fridge still not working. Every time I call in to see what happens next and am I approved for a replacement they say “ we promise you this is the last time we send a technician to your home to confirm this fridge is not fixable”! Yet again they do this next time it’s been 3 months since November 5 different technician that don’t want to deal with us and put the final note in to say we can’t fix the fridge!
