My dishwasher was not getting the glasses clean. When I called for the appt. I was able to get one for 2 days later but with an arrival window of between 1-5. As I work for a living, like every other person needing repairs, I was not able to be home until after 3. I asked to get in touch with the actual repair serviceman to see if I could call him on that day as soon as I got home. I know from previous experience that Sears contracts out to various repair personnel and they do not have their own repair staffing exclusively for Sears. The repairman let me know that he could not get to my house on the appt day after 3. He very kindly offered to come on Sunday of that week. He showed up on time and fixed the problem in under 45 minutes so no complaints at all re his service. My complaint is with Sears- they need to have morning /afternoon/late shifts for repairmen so customers can get service at the times that are convenient for them.I was lucky enough to get someone who offered to go the extra mile but I am not sure I can count on this always happening. By the way, Sears did not know that the appt day/time was changed as they sent an email confirming the Friday appt. I also think it is ridiculous that policy renewal forms are not emailed to customers. Instead, there are really annoying toll-free calls that call every night until you answer them. The calls are not identified as Sears by caller id so most of the time I ignore them. They then send a snail mail notice that the policy is about to expire! I get Sears email ads DAILY so it does not make sense that they cannot send email insurance renewal policies. I have called and complained about this to the 800 number for Sears but the policy is obviously set by Corporate. So...I sure hope someone in Sears Corporate actually reads these reviews!

our dryer still makes the same awful noise. I recorded it on my cellphone. Hopefully someone will come back and find the REAL problem

The problem of the refrigerator was it was not making ice and the water was working on and off. The ice maker was fixed and the water was working when he left. After 24 hours the water stopped working.

I was pleased with the overall response of Sears and how easy it was to schedule service. My only complaint was the technician was quite messy as he cleaned out our dryer and lint got everywhere + the cost of the service was expensive.

Service person came out for known recall problem. Was here for 15 min and left. I was still charged for full service call.

He found nothing wrong with the refrigerator and freezer. Although, he pointed out that freezer door isn't closing property which is affecting and slowing down process of ice making and fridge temperature not lowering enough to cool items in the fridge. He charged agreed amount of service and left us with a promise to call back within 90 days if problems persist with ice maker and fridge temperature isn't sufficient to keep items cool. He showed authoritarian attitude.

They kept switching me to another person at least 5 times why can't the first person do it just set up an appointment for fixing stuff that's what I bought this warranty for not to get to know everyone who knows how to answer a phone call for sears!!!!

I needed the technician to actually repair my dishwasher. Had he called ME, I'd have told him. Instead, I was charged $129.00 for just a service call.. So disappointed 😞
