I had them come out because the oven and broiler were not working. The tech came out, spent 2.5 hours, mostly looking for the serial number, which he never found. Got the oven to work, calibrated it but didn't have the part to fix the broiler. Said they would order parts and come back. A month later I called to check the status, the tech didn't even mention in his report that the broiler wasn't working and didn't order parts. Now they want to charge me AGAIN to come back. Very poor service.

The service man didn't listen to what the actual problem was for the dishwasher, and completely dismissed my wife's description of how the dishwasher was behaving, stating that that never happens. Also spent more time trying to sell the warranty than fix the problem.

Sears could not schedule an appointment less then 5 days(5 DAYS!) out to replace our water heater burner. Trying to get a hold of a supervisor took 4 agonizing hours because their phone system would continue to hang up and would have to get back into the cue. trying chat was no use. When the Tech arrived on time, he did not have the correct part. He would return two days later. Tech was great...Sears customer service...blah! C'mon folks it's a water heater...gotta shower

The two technicians did an excellent job: The first in diagnosing the problem (failure of the compressor and related parts after only 6 1/2 years, and then super diligent in finding that the parts were still covered by warranty). The second in getting the refrigerator up and running. The problem was on two counts: The new parts were shipped directly to us in multiple packages and there were mistakes made in that process causing delays.and in no event was tracking data available or anybody accountable or responsive. Second, the scheduling of technicians requires many days. Obviously not enough technicians to meet demand. Bottom line --- no refrigeration for close to three weeks.

We have a Kenmore elite refigerator that stopped working. Sears technician came out to repair, misdiagnosed the refigerator. They replaced the compressor but the refigerator is still inoperable. Now we have to wait for the technician to come out again to see if he can fix it.

Repairs took 3 trips and in the end failed. Replacement parts were for a different model and cursory testing was insufficient. Specifically, door open sensor does not work so, for example, microwave runs with the door open! Asked for a return visit and demonstrated problem. Waiting to hear resolution. UPDATE: no response to my emails
