Feb 20 our washing machine thru up an error code. We scheduled a service call for 2/22, tech (Travis) showed 2 hours after the appointment. Couldn't fix the problem, order a part. 2/26 part arrived, scheduled for install 2/27...no show. 2/28 called cant make it; 3/4 showed up late; still not fixed order more parts. 3/11 No show; 3/13 Rescheduled 3/17 Victor came installed parts, discovered mice chewed wiring, NO FIX, NOT Covered. Victor was very kind and helpful. Travis is as useful as my broken machine. Cancel my service plan and I expect a full refund as Travis sold me this crap service plan. I await your response

The repair technician that came out tried to cut some corners (said he was done with the repair but didnt install two of my five replacement parts). When I asked him specifically if he installed all five of the parts, it was then that he revealed he didn't install two of them because "they were the wrong parts" and "you didnt need to replace those anyway". Then I asked him about why i "didnt need those parts anyway" when the first service technician - from his same company - said I did need them and ordered them; he then made excuses e.g., "Who are you going to trust, the 19 year old with one year of repair experience, or 'me', who's been doing this for 20 years?". He said he believed my problem was with the vent, and how their company checks vents but doesn't work on vent issues. He also asked if the previous technician used a meter to check my vent flow. I said he checked it and said the flow was good, but I didn't watch him to see if he actually used a meter, just like I didn't watch him [today] actually replace the parts he said he did. I told him I trusted the first guy to do his job properly just like I'm trusting him to do so now. He said the first technician would need to use a meter to properly determine vent flow, and how he believes my problem is in the vent. I asked him if he used a meter to check my vent flow, and he said, "No, I don't climb off the ground more than 2 feet." I repeated his statements back to him and attempted to point out how he was taking an irrational position - insisting a vent problem cannot be diagnosed without using a vent meter yet he wanted me to accept his vent diagnosis without him using a vent meter! I told him I wanted him to check my vent with his meter before I spent additional money to call a different company to check my vents. Again, he wanted me to call someone else without: 1. Him installing all of the parts that were recommended to be replaced from the diagnosis (if they were in fact the wrong parts, they should have been reordered and installed before moving on to something else), and 2. Him not actually using the meter to check my vent flow (which is part of my service I paid for with his company AND was the very thing he asked me if the first technician did). He made more excuses and I told him I have a step stool he could use (just like the first technician did) to check the vent. He then said he couldn't reach my vent with the stool because he is short, as opposed to being "six feet tall like you". I said, "I have a pole you can use to reach the vent without even leaving the ground". Eventually he checked the vent, while standing on the bottom step of the stool, all while still attempting to argue his position. (Mind you, this is after my previous appointments had been cancelled and rescheduled 3 times waiting for the parts to arrive!) As he left my home he actually had the nerve to state the bromide, "Have a blessed day!" Really????? SMH Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose with this service.

Noe was very cordial; but, when I started to wash a small load of clothes, water leaked out onto the floor. I'm calling for another appointment to have this fixed.

We connected with this company through our home warranty insurance. The technician didn't address all of the issues we had submitted. The fan is still not responding to the thermostat. I dont know that he even looked into that issue. He did, however, look at our cooling issue. We were told that the problem for not having cold air is due to an airflow issue.and probably a blockage in the ventilation/return airflow. Then he tells us that vents/ductwork clean out is not something that they "usually do". I'm not sure what that means. Do they or don't they?? The experience was just underwhelming and I felt like our time and money were wasted. The 2 stars is because they were prompt in scheduling and arriving to the appointment.

I reported this technician because he previously canceled purposely right when he was outside my door without confirming with me, he canceled my appointment and he came to my appointment yesterday after I filed a complaint with him and he purposely left my water heater off and turned off all my gas appliances I had no hot water at night and I am disabled. My son had no hot water in the morning and I’m extremely disappointed. I pay for a service not for Brandon to just do whatever he feels like doing. I’m sure there’s other technicians out there I would like to. Perform outstanding. I’m sure he didn’t forget he retaliated because I filed a complaint on him.

Your response was un acceptable we will pursue this further, and this doesn't make sense. Saying the #s don't match? How could that be ? You have made a mistake.

The service man was great. Professional and completed job quickly. Dealing with sears was a nightmare. Unable to contact anyone to help me. Parts where ordered but not received. I used the automatic system but the only options where to reschedule appointment or cancel. I had to wait until the service man showed up to find out where the missing part was. Fortunately he had a supply line on his van and was able to complete the job. If not the part would have been reordered and possibly another service charge. All of this could have been avoided if I could have talked to someone to reorder the missing part but Sears don't have any options to speak to a real person

Was late and never any update to the scheduled time. Once he inspected the unit, he said that they were determining whether or not they could move forward to fix it. He was on the phone with someone and he said oh yeah, it was really hot in Bakersfield so that could’ve happened… I didn’t think much of it at the time, but then our claim was denied and I realized that whoever he was talking to you on the phone told him that maybe it was a power surge because that’s why our claim was denied. Clearly, there was no evidence to him that there were the power surge. It’s just something they can say to hide behind not to do the repair..
