The technician stated they were not able to perform repairs because our dishwasher didn’t have a serial number (it appears someone took the sticker off). This was after I received a phone call weeks prior to diagnose the issue and order parts where I explained the sticker was gone that should have model number and serial number. The tech on the phone used the partial model number that we identified in the original owners manual that came with the dishwasher to figure out what parts to order. Parts were received but the individual that came today charged me a fee for coming and took the parts with him stating they were his parts and he would not repair because the serial number sticker was not on the dishwasher.

Very unsatisfactory and not communicative

Sears customer service SUCKS! Giving a person a month out appt. when their refrigerator goes out is unacceptable! Losing all your food, everything, is devastating. Giving someone a window between 8-5pm and the technician arrives at 6pm and is still not prepared and can’t do the repair! Then……… schedule another appt. 2wks out between 8-5pm, and on that day while the customer is waiting they get a text@2pm saying the appt. has been cancelled and rescheduled AGAIN! Unbelievable! Two weeks later, three days before Thanksgiving the refrigerator is finally working. Sears should really just stop selling appliances and go completely out of business what a disappointment.
