  4. very very poor service. i talked to eight people and was denied access to a manager. My specific question was what is the cost to fix my lid switch.?

    I wanted to determine my cost for repair vs buying one. I finally got someone smart enough to find the cost of the part. I was told $79 + 34.91 plus tax, Your disrespectful tech Raul told me $314. I refused the service and told him I will not pay the visit fee because if I has been given the correct amount he would not be at my home. He agreed that it was the lid switch. He called his supervisor. I told her what happened. I asked him to wait for me to get something to write her name/number down, As I was entering my house he drove off. I have been a customer of Sears over 52yrs. I got my washer fixed Tuesday for $135. It was the lid switch. It may cost me more than what I would have paid you. However, I am prepared to go the small claims court. Go back and listen to your recorded calls. It took me 8 attempts which equate to hours. I have three houses and all my appliances came from Sears. Going forward I would have to reconsider my purchasing decisions.

    I had called in and told the CS rep what was wrong and they totally got it wrong, they sent someone for a PM. So nothing has been taken care of yet. Then I called to speak to someone and was on hold for 35 min. so I finally just hung up. Very disappointed in Sears CS!
