WHAT TYPES OF HVAC UNITS DOES SEARS INSTALL?
AIR CONDITIONERS
The central air conditioner removes excess heat and humidity from your home, keeping the air purer. A fully functioning A/C unit is a necessity, particularly when the mercury starts to rise.
We provide repair, replacement and installation services on all types of A/C units:
- Central air conditioning
- Ductless mini split air conditioners
- Dual fuel air conditioner
GAS & OIL FURNACES
In the long turn, running an old, inefficient furnace can cost more than replacing the unit with a new one. So if you’ve been putting off furnace replacement, now’s a good time to make it happen.
We provide the following furnace replacement services:
- Gas furnace installation
- Oil furnace installation
- Electric furnace installation
HEAT PUMPS
A heat pump works the same as a central air conditioner in the cooling mode. In heating mode, the heat pump reverses refrigerant flow to efficiently heat your home using hot refrigerant.
We provide repair, replacement and installation services on all types of HP units:
- Heat pump
- Hybrid heat pump
- Ductless minisplit heat pump
BOILERS
Water leaks often signal the end of a boiler’s useful life. Replace your boiler when repair costs skyrocket. Sears can replace your boiler with a new, efficient model that will save you money on energy costs and make your home more comfortable.
We can assist you with the following boiler solutions:
- Boiler replacement and installation
- Gas/Oil boiler replacement and installation

SEARS HAS THE HVAC EXPERTS FOR YOUR FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONING REPLACEMENT
When you hire Sears HVAC experts to install* a whole house air conditioner, furnace, or other HVAC unit, we take steps to ensure you get the right product for your home.
We provide air conditioning installation for every type of unit
Have you experienced a summer without an air conditioning unit? Have you ever tried to get through the long, hot months of June, July and August with a faulty central air conditioning unit? We provide replacement and installation of efficient central air conditioning units, giving you the peace of mind that comes with a reliable new air conditioning system. Instead of continuing expensive repairs on an old HVAC system and the stress of never knowing when it might stop working again, consider installing a new air conditioning system from Sears Home Services.
How do you determine the right size furnace or AC for a home?
To make sure the unit you select is the right size for your home, the Sears HVAC expert does an electronic load calculation estimate to determine the exact type of heat and air conditioning system that’s just right for your home — we don’t just replace it with the same size unit you currently have. These calculations take into consideration factors such as the size of your home, its exposure to the sun and wind, the number and size of windows, how well insulated the house is and more. This step is essential so the unit isn’t too small or too large — both waste energy.
What types of optional HVAC accessories does Sears offer?
Sears offers optional accessories that make your home more comfortable:
- An air filtration system added to your heating and air conditioning system can help minimize pollutants in your home, such as pollen, bacteria, dander, dust and more. An electronic air cleaner can filter out up to 95 percent of the particulates that pass through your HVAC system.
- A furnace humidifier increases the humidity in your home during the dry winter months. The added humidity is good for your skin and respiratory system. It also helps keep wood inside the house from shrinking. And because humidified air feels warmer, you can turn down the thermostat to save energy.
- A programmable thermostat lets you set up different temperatures for different times of day and days of the week. Once set, the thermostat automatically keeps the house at a comfortable temperature while you’re at home and active, and at an energy-saving temperature when you’re away or asleep.
What additional factors affect the cost of HVAC installation?
To make sure your new HVAC system does the best job it can do, we go beyond just installing a new heating or cooling unit. We also check the condition of the ductwork and your home’s insulation, and make recommendations based on what we find.
*Installation includes standard labor to existing ductwork, electric/gas lines also removal of old equipment. Excludes: Permits, additional ductwork, electrical or codes upgrades and asbestos removal.
