How to Troubleshoot a Dishwasher Not Filling With Water

  1. Make sure the water supply is on.

  2. Remove anything caught under the overfill float. This device is what tells your dishwasher when to stop adding water.

  3. Make sure the overfill float can move up and down.

  4. Keep the overfill float in the down position.
