Sears HomePro: worst service ever

My unit is broke for 6 months now. Called and scheduled repair dozen of times. Most of times, my service order was cancelled after many re-schedules without any explanations. Rare Technician visits had no results. Never buy warranty or rely on Sears HomePro services!

He said he couldn't find anything wrong with the oven. Wanted to argue that the oven was working OK. He packed up his tool bag and hurried out the front door without even saying goodbye.

No call, no show is not very good customer service.

This is the 2nd time I've had the technician not show up and cancel without letting me know why. I've had to take time off of work to be able to have an adult present. Supposedly parts were ordered but haven't shipped yet. But I've had 2 boxes the size of a smart car in my laundry room for a month now. I'm about ready to send the parts back, cancel my home warranty and just deal with the situation myself. Better communication would be ideal in this situation.

Created new problems for my home

Technician came to diagnose my leaking boiler for a home warranty claim, and for some reason opened a valve to a floor heat zone that I had already had fixed, was unrelated to the leaking boiler, and we already had drained and shut off because it previously had its own leak. Now I have water in this zone that should not, and the technician left without fixing the problem he created. There was a severe language, and I have an unresolved problem I didn't have before the appointment that the tech created and I'm not clear if my current problem is still being investigated with my home warranty.

Was not truthful to General Electric

Carlos was nice and polite, but the info he relayed back to General electric was completely the opposite he told my wife and I in person. We had a problem with our cook top being scratched way to easy with cookware that should not scratch it. Deep scratches. Carlos even looked at our cookware and said that they looked good and appropriate. He told us that glass Cooktops are just always going to get scratched no matter what. This isn't true though because we have had 2 other glass top G.E. ranges that did not do this. After he had left he put in the report sent to G.E. that this whole issue was due to user error. This was very dissapointing to hear from the G.E. consumer relations representative we called after we had left. Because of his report and going behind our back and saying the opposite, this puts us at a financial strain due to G.E. not willing to replace the defective Cooktop without payment.
