My entire range repair experience was terrible. I initially had to wait 3 weeks for a technician to come out for 5 minutes just to tell me that the igniter needed to be replaced and then another 2 weeks for the parts to be ordered and for him to return to install. Somehow the return visit was never assigned to a technician so no one showed. I had to wait another 2 weeks for another appointment to have the parts installed. During that appointment, the technician decided to lecture me on why they don't come to the first appointment with the parts that might be needed for the repair. As a result of this experience, I will never do business with Sears Home Services again. Waiting 7 weeks and spending hours on the phone trying to speak to the right person was completely unacceptable.

This has been the third time where no one showed up! All three times I was there!! The first two times no one knocked on the door, they just sit the bag there and took a picture! The third time I made sure the door was open the entire day and nothing! This is unprofessional and unacceptable!! People have better things to do other than sit in the house all day for nothing!

Stay Away! Horrible!! Don't do it!

I had the worst experience. I called in through my warranty company which worked great. Sears was the service provider. I got no accessed on Friday because the technician went to the wrong house without any type of courtesy call. I was home all day baking in the house waiting. I found out 3 minutes after the portal was updated. Once that happened there is no way to get ahold of the tech to inform him of the error. I had to reschedule for Monday. Then a tech called me on Monday to say he couldn't come out because it was too cold now(a cold front came through) to turn on the A/C. He said he would reschedule the A/C diagnosis for Friday when it is supposed to get warmer. He never showed up and closed the ticket. Customer service at sears is a joke. It is very difficult to get a hold of anyone!! Beware. All numbers lead to the same silly automated system.

Technician finished "repairing" the unit but did not run a test before he left.. We turn the washer on for a load,, and the machine DID NOT WORK...

Not thorough

Technician replaced the rubber boot on my washer. He had to remove the faceplate to do so. Apparently he did not replace it properly as I am now unable to use one of the buttons on the options board. I think he should have checked that everything was working properly before he left. Will need to schedule another service and take more time off work.

I am long term customer for sears , been using KENMORE brand for last 20 yes, but this time we have nothing but problems. We purchased extended warranty for both washer and dryer and its of NO use, they still want us to pay 1000 to fix the issue we have with washer gasket.

Electrolux Dryer is Garbage

Sears nor Frigidaire (Electrolux) back their products! The dryer hasn't worked since day one. It is barely one year and seven attempts to make this dryer work it is worse than ever!

The technician's diagnosis determined whether or not the warranty company covered by claim. Because the technician reported that the broiler temperature "was not normal" and caused the control panel on my stove to shut down, my claim is denied!!! I am sorely disappointed that someone who claimed to have 30-years of experience in the appliance business, would make such a blunder :-(, when during his visit he indicated that a new control board and/or transformer was needed?!?!?!?! If/when we purchase another applicance IT WILL NOT BE A Whirlpool brand.
