No longer your father's Sears
I have a warranty that I paid for on my Sears Craftsman lawn tractor. I need a lawn tractor because a have a 1 acre lawn in Florida. On July 12 I called Sears because the drive belt broke. Today is November 15 and the Sears technician finally got it running. So I was without a lawn tractor for 112 days. And there was nothing I could do about it. Sears keeps trying to sell me a home appliance warranty. Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! I can just picture being without home air conditioning for 3 1/2 months waiting for them to find parts or being too busy to get to me. It is no wonder that Sears is going belly up. You cannot treat your customers like this and expect them to come back. I challenge you to come up with a good excuse for them to take 3 1/2 MONTHS to fix a lawn tractor. -Fed Up Customer

Oven repair, Choice Home Warranty
I am deeply disappointed in the visit yesterday (11/14/23). I was not able to talk to a technician prior to the visit. It would have been very helpful if someone had contacted me to discuss the issue and they would have been more educated about the issue. I knew the issue was likely the igniter part for the oven, but could have provided the information (more in-depth symptoms, model make and number, etc) that the tech could have been more prepared for the service call and had the part with him in order to make repairs more efficiently. It is my understanding that igniters are a pretty common problem. So this process (and not being able to reach anyone via phone for more discussion) has caused the oven to not be repaired - and more inconveniently - just as the holiday is approaching. Additionally, i had to sit here at the house beginning at 8am until his arrival - at 2pm. I could have run errands in the morning prior to his visit. The time range given to me was 8am -5pm - which is UNACCEPTABLE!! I had hopes that the warranty company would have chosen to use a more local contractor, but this one came from Richmond. In short, i will never knowingly use this contractor again. If rated, i would say 1 star out of 4.

Bad Service - No Show
Our experience was BAD. We waited 10 hours for Dimitri but he never came. We were hone th entire day. We had a call at 2:34 pm saying that Dimitri would be a little late. Then no call and no show. Terrible service!! We have a driveway alarm which did not go off and no one banged on the door or rang the doorbell. Just plain NO SHOW!! Bad customer service!!! Dont want to give any stars but must so one.

Oscar Tried to put the blame on Duct and Vents cleaning company. He made us call the company twice. Again he determined that Air Dryer ( Gas) not working and needs to be fixed. Strangely he closed the ticket without fixing the problem Very unprofessional

Service for GE Dryer
He didn't come a proper tool to check the dryer vent. Initially he told me that he noticed the issue what I was informed but later told me that it's dryer vent issue and needs to be cleaned when he was leaving without checking the dryer vent. I requested to check properly the dryer vent before making the final report. He also mentioned that he came on different van and this van doesn't have vent pressure checker. Also mentioned that there is a 30 days period to contact you if the issue is not ressolved after cleaning the dryer's vent. I am very unhappy about this because he declared this as a dryer vent's issue without checking it.

Not satisfied
Really? I gave the guy a good review because he finally admitted that the refrigerator was not fixable and that he would put that in his report. Now I find out that he lied thru his teeth. He reported that he defrosted the ice maker line and fixed other things. He was here for maybe 5 to 10 minutes and told us not to call for a technician again because there was nothing they could do which hadn't already been done. We called the Benefits Administration team that told us what he reported and that there was nothing they could do. Benefits told us to call Sears Protection and make another appointment and ask for a senior tech.

Dryer repair
The dryer was not repaired. Shane talked way too fast and told me nothing was wrong. He did not check behind the dryer to look at the coils I had to call another repair service. They fixed it. They had to replace the coils.

Terrible technician
The technician said I tampered with my oven controls when I did not . I followed the instructions in the manual for cleaning and now the insurance company will not repair my oven. The technician made no attempt to listen to me and just made his own determination that I tampered with the controls

Washing machine still does not work!
Asked the Technician if the error code was eliminated, he replied yes. Started Machine and it gave me the same error code. The washer is not fixed!!

Wastes of 2 months of my life
I called in this repair request on Sept. 26, and was schedule for a technician for 6 Oct. That was cancelled and parts were order without anyone coming out to check the problem and the parts went backorder until approximately 6 Nov. A tech showed up yesterday and installed the part and declared the problem solved. I wasn't home and my wife accepted the tech's declaration. Upon review, i have the same issue as I had on 26 Sept., NO ICE, NO WATER thru door. Thanks SEARS!!!!
