unfortunately Robert was the 3rd tech out in 2 weeks. first 1 ordered the part, wait 1 week. bad part delivered. 2nd 1 ordered another part, wait 1 week. Robert fixed it. he was great, the service was not

Sears Home Service YOU are in the wrong here!!
This review is not for technician Paul B. It is for Sears Home Service and a different Sears Home Service technician that preformed the work. The technician arrived at my home to repair my air conditioner that was not cooling. The technician replaced the capacitor and within three hours of the technician leaving, inside the unit caught fire and burned up the wires and the capacitor. Within inches of where the technician was working. Sears Home Service refuses to fix my air conditioner. They claim it must have been a surge that caused the fire and they are not responsible. I am now left with costly repairs far beyond the air conditioner just not cooling. Sears Home Service needs to take responsibility and make this right! This is unacceptable!

Washer dryer Kenmore
Horrible and incredibly incompetent by you service staff and your communication systems with your clients! The staff over 12 weeks were able to not only not totally fix the original problem which was the dryer that broke the washer causing delays in assessing and ordering of parts then after supposedly fixing the washer they came again got the washer working then a few days later a hose came loose and flooded the apt. It is impossible to find anyone in your organization to talk to. I have given up which maybe you want. I bought a new one from your competitor today since I am still cleaning the mess up. I can not believe how far Sears has fallen. I will be spending time to spread the word. I will be surprised if I get an answer why this happened!!! Very upsetting and frustrating!!!

Wrong diagnosis
The tech didn't know what was wrong with my stove and said there would be a cash out. AHS didn't agree with that and sent another company out to look at it and found the problem was a computer board issue that it had burned out and was unsafe to use' I'm still waiting for AHS to make a decision on what they are going to do about it. I have been without a stove for a month now. Very disappointed in the efficiency of this process.

Sears Refrigerator Repairs
The technician came and attempted to fix our refrigerator for the 6th this year. He was unable to repair it and said we would be contacted about it being replaced. It has been two weeks since we were told this and we have still not be contacted. We are waiting with a broken refrigerator and a damaged hard wood floor. I am very disappointed with our service

Worse experience
This guy is completely incompetent, he came to fix my heating issue twice and kept saying I need 4 wires for my nest thermostat, I've had a nest in the place for 4 years which worked perfectly fine, I even replaced the nest with a new unit and had a nest technician come to install it. I was told by nest technician that there's something wrong with the circuit board, but I guess it too hard for this guy to comprehend. Sears home warranty is waste of money

Frustrating
He was here 10 minutes and said everything is fine. We had to reschedule wait over a week and now today the tech discovered that our fridge has a bad compressor! Extremely frustrating that this wasn't ordered on the first service visit and replaced today! Terrible service by this tech who also had a shadow with him. So now we are still without a working refrigerator. Unacceptable on Daniel's part

Knew nothing about the product, no diagnosis, no fix
Cafe induction stove top was malfunctioning. Unfortunately, the technician had never seen a Cafe/GE induction stove, in fact he almost broke the front panel because he missed some screws for opening it. Then he could not identify any of the parts on the inside. I tried helping him by showing him the schematics on website and in manual. He couldn't read them. He did not know you could access error codes in the stove's menu. Eventually he suggested I try swapping one specific element. Turns out, he was wrong -- with an actual expert's help, I managed to fix the problem by swapping an entirely different and unrelated component. Would have broken the oven in addition to the top if I had followed the "diagnosis" by the technician. I attempted to reverse the charge but Sears claims all services were performed as promised. Absolutely utter disgrace. Sending technicians out who know *nothing* about the product and then charging full price after the technician's diagnosis "it's broken" is a pretty sad joke.

Kevin was rude.
Kevin was very rude and disrespectful. He did not have tools to install compressor. He then tells me I do not need It. My question, why was it ordered. I was told it was needed. How crazy is that. Wait over 2 months to have the repair done and it is not completed. The refrig. Is still not working correctly. He leaves the most important part off. I have never known sears to do business this way.

Lazy Repairman
Came in without tool bag. Took a look, asked wierd questions like how much do I pay for my warranty service and how hots my water, said items aren't covered, so didn't bother to submit repair claim to warranty company to determine what's covered and isn't, so we could then determine our out of pocket repair costs to proceed. If I could rate a zero, I would.
