Dishwasher

This is the second technician I have had out for this dishwasher this month. He left said it was working. I ran the dishwasher that night and it was still broken. When I call, I can never speak to an actual live human. I had to use the automated system to schedule another appointment. I have to wait another week for another technician to come out and attempt to fix the dishwasher. There should be live representatives that I can speak to to explain that these are not new appointments I'm scheduling they are for the same repair.

Ice maker

Overall rating

Javier came today to check on the icemaker that was not producing ice. I informed him that the icemaking arm was not staying in the hole properly. Apparently he did not check that before he left, because no ice was created today because he didn't put the arm down. I'm very disappointed in the quality of service that I am getting from these visits. This is the sixth visit to fix this refrigerator/freezer.

Did not do his job

I paid to have my dryer vent cleaned out. He did not clean the dyer vent out. He did not perform the maintenance. Was literally there less than 10 minutes. I told him the dryer is giving me an error code to clean out the vent and he said he saw no code. He did absolutely nothing. Additionally he never called on his way over. Then argued with me saying there was no note to call before coming. This was a complete waste of time and money and I be calling to get my money back from Sears.

Job done finally

Michael B fixed our dishwasher just fine. However, Sears Home Services is a poor service provider. Our service order was entered October 12 and the first promise date was October 30. At 1:30PM on that day, our service was rescheduled to November 13. On November 10 our service was rescheduled for November 29. Dishwasher repair was completed on December 15. We are leaving American Home Shield over this after being their customer for almost 30 years.

Totally disgusted!

Repair was good but he left the box of removed parts on my floor behind kitchen table. Didn't notice till today. After picking up the box it had leaked water all night. Now I need to replace two floor boards because of water damage. My warranty for the fridge is now negated by carelessness and having to spend money on my floor.

Heating system

The Sears technician was uncourteous and didn't bother to let us know that the job had been completed or where the status was. Instead of coming in and turning on the system to make sure that it was working he didn't bother we left the door open to see if he wanted to come in to try out and turn on the heating system but instead he drove away without letting us know the job is done anything. When we tried to turn on the heating system it wasn't working.

Poor service!!!!

Very unprofessional. Didn't introduce himself only said I repair refrigerators and did not say bye when he left. Could not repair my refrigerator. His supervisor showed up and was not much better. Will not use Sears again!
