Matt provided excellent service (5 stars) that finally resulted in a working refrigerator after five weeks of unnecessary back and forth. The overall experience was absolutely painful with no ability to get any answers from anyone at the 800 number. Too many mistakes made during the process. Will not use service again and would certainly not recommend to anyone.

Very disappointed.
No star. I talked to several people at A&E about how this was handled and technician on September 27. A&E agreed tech did not do right. First,aug 2nd placed to come out,a week later aandce said they over booked. Then had reasign for 3 weeks later in our very hit house. The rest should be in notes at a and e. Had to call choice home warrenty to reassign again.

Fridge doesn't power on!
Came to repair the fridge. Claimed to replace parts. Never plugged it back in to see if it worked. Told us to leave IT unplugged to defrost. We'll it's all melted and we plugged it back in. NO POWER TO THE FRIDGE. CONTACTED SEARS AND THEY DONT WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE AT HAND! TERRIBLE SERVICE! FRIDGE MORE BROKEN THAN IT WAS ORIGINALLY!

Dennis was friendly, knowlegeable and most of all patient over a confusion of the pending work order.His work was done swiftly and he was very careful with my dryer. We need more technicians like him.

Overall experience was terrible
First off the repair person was great. When sears actually did have me on the schedule he was timely and very nice to deal with. The one star is for Sears canceling same day twice and a no show (they messed up scheduling) once. When they responded to my other one star review I was told to call their 800#. That is all automated. Call the 800# to reschedule...listen to options to choose from that doesn't connect you to a person? If I ever have to use my home warranty again I will make sure I'm given other options than Sears.

Wrong charge by sears 's technician
I need estimate for new glas top adi took appointment- your technician nothing do.Just only says we can not install new appliance-just repair !& my receipt saws that trip charge waived & repair charge $ 129 plus tax. He nothing do Just charge & withi a Five minitus gone.Also his Attitudd I do not like.In future me & my friend & family never go to Sears's No more sears service !! It was a waste of my time. Didnothing but shined his light and tryrd to ssy door wasn't shut which was not true. Then said maybe frige overworked. Never will I call sears again. Waste if my money abd time.

complaint
he came very late and diagnosed my problem as the refrigerator was going to stop working in 2 days so we went out and bought new refrigerator it has been 5 days and old one is still working very unhappy and will never use your service again

AC from Sears Home Services via Richard C.
Initial complaint was on 7/19, Richard came 7/20. The AC did not work after Richard C left. So, appointment was made for August 6, 2024. That was 17 days later of no AC. On 8/6 Erik came out and wasn't able complete the problem. Next appt was 15 days later on 8/21. No completion. Next appt was 8/30, and that was another 9 days later, 3 days from now. Do you really think we trust you? We are 78 & 82 years old. Elder Abuse! It will have been 41 days of extreme heat with no AC.
