Washer/dryer repair
It was less than 1 star -you need to have a negative rating! Horrible experience!!! Refused to even look at washing machine, refused to replace parts that had been ordered and took the new parts with him. He then closed out the repair ticket saying circuit board was replaced & machine working. LIE! LIE! LIE!!!!

Refrigerator ice maker not making ice
Your service was terrible. All i could do was talk to a text message even though i had trouble scheduling an appointment. Your representative did not fix my machine. It still is not making ice. This is the second repairman in a year who did the same thing --defrost the event in the back of the freezer but did not make a repair. I am so frustrated with Sears service that i will never buy anything through the company again.

Home owner unsatisfied with service
My appointment was set for 8-9:30 am. I didn't get the call until after 10:30 am from a very hostly young man . When I mentioned that I was waiting for him he I turned told me that the was at another address waiting for the homeowners to acknowledge that he was at their home and that I was one of three of his appointments and that he drove from Fayetteville nc and would get to me in the afternoon! I explained that I had to go to work at 1pm, and wouldn't be home. He then say have a good day and hung up.

HVAC making rattling noise like a scooter starting
He did absolutely nothing to identify the problem in the Air Conditioner HVAC and was only interested in the deductible first. Never any contractor asked me any money without identifying the problem and therefore asked him to leave. Also my appointment was for May 6 and he came on May 5. In short he did no work.

Misdiagnosis of ice maker
Was told nothing was wrong with ice maker. It has been kicking out clumps of ice ever since. Had to spend nearly 2 hours on the phone to try and get the repair rescheduled under the old plan.

Fridge doesn't work properly
I give it one star because I paid so much money to have my refrigerator cooled and after a week the refrigerator was frozen all up, vegetables, milk, everything and I called to report it and it turns out that I have to pay again for them to check something they did wrong, they tell me that it counts as a guarantee and that they will discount 25% of the work they do, when they are not supposed to charge me anything because it was something wrong that they did, because when they went to check the refrigerator they gave me the complete diagnosis and I paid for that and for the fix and now I have to pay for another diagnosis? Please ask to speak immediately with the head of the company

AC
He did not explain anything after he checked my ac neither did I sign any paperwork with him. Few hours later the insurance emailed me a copy with the technician drawing line where I was supposed to sign and telling me in the email that my clime was not approve. My question is why are we paying home warranty every month with Chooice home warranty. They are all criminal.

Nice repair man, but appliance is still broken.
I've been trying to get someone out to fix my icemaker for 2 months. When someone was finally available to come out he was very nice, but as soon as he left the icemaker stopped working (again), and an additional problem occurred of the fridge door not closing all the way. Frustrated with both the difficulty in getting someone out, and the continued malfunction that is still not been fixed.

Terrible experience
One of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. A Sears Home Services technician told me I needed to order a $900 part for my refrigerator. After waiting for the part to arrive, he came back and said it was the wrong part and that they no longer carry the correct one. He took the part with him and said I'd receive a refund—but I never did. It's been weeks, and there's no way to speak with a real person. Their customer service is just an AI that can't help with refunds or escalate issues. Meanwhile, my refrigerator is still broken and I'm out $900. Unacceptable and incredibly disappointing.
