No customer service agent know how to solve my problem

I've spent 20+ hours on the phone with Sears customer service agents and no one knows how the process for, what I think is, a common problem. LG is famous for having bad compressors in their refrigerators. My compressor is still under warranty. I originally just needed Sears to provide me information so that LG could send out a technician, but after passing me off to other departments, they technically refused to provide me with the information. Then, once I got my own technician to my house, through Sears Home Services, Sears can't figure out who needs to fill our a form to send to LG which requests a Letter of Authorization from them (for warrantee parts). It has been 5 weeks since the visit and diagnosis by the technician and I still have no working refrigerator. It has been a nightmare working with (getting the runaround by) Sears.

Insulting and still dirty

This Tech didn't clean much and insulted me by saying "it must be nice being a woman in America" on his way out. I took a day off of work to have my washer and dryer cleaned thoroughly. He left mold and soap scum all over. When asked about why it wasn't cleaned, he proceeded to tell me how to clean it myself. It wasn't overly dirty to start with. I reported this and will not be using this service ever again.

Tech was very nice, however…

I had a scheduled house call for issues with my washer not filling with water. The tech came to the house and noticed the water lines were hooked up backwards (hot to cold etc) he switched the hoses and turned it on, and issue resolved. It took less than 10 minutes and no tools or parts were even used. For this, I was charged over $170! I feel that this is more than excessive and frankly, it feels like price gouging, and causes me as the consumer to lose trust and respect for this company.

Choice warranty said he diagnosed our LC refrigerator reason for water and ice not dispensing had valve problem but that's not what he told us so we tried to call and text him. He did not once attempt to return any of the messages we left him. He never did any repair or updated us on what we needed to do and left us in the dark to confirm what really was broken.

Bad Diagnosis

Not sure why and how the determination of a bad compressor was diagnosed. The information communicated to Choice was not covered. Apparently it was not considered a " Wear and Tear" item, but yet the compressor was not tested only communicated that it had been replaced. I believe as a technician myself, not troubleshooting the system in its entirely limits the customers chances for an approval for coverage.

Washer leaking more than when I called in

The washer is leaking more than when I called into repair it I asked him why water in the tray that holds washer he said it is okay it is from part change … I should have tried w him here and I didn't I load to washed and all the soap and water came out rapidly I am reallly upset I need repaired I called and it moved to tomorrow Fri the 3 rd but the confirmation email said sat 4th I need Michael to come out NOT JAMES

Poor customer service Does not care about customers Did not troubleshoot … made us very upset He said he won't do a half job..we don't want a half job. We want to troubleshoot the situation and if worse case senario we will deal with that but you can't jump staright into worse case out the bat!

Seemed like the tech guy didn't want to be there. He didn't offer any specifics about how to fix it,other than a new wire harness. He said he couldn't do anything for us.

Horrible service

This has been the worst, most stressful experience. The technician was scheduled between 8-5 on October 5th and called to reschedule for October 6th (the next day) to diagnose my washing machine. After diagnosis American Home Shield decided instead of paying for a new washing machine they would give the okay to order new parts to fix my washing machine. I was then scheduled on October 19th for a technician to come back to install the parts, after waiting 8 hours for the technician to show up on the 19th I finally get a call an hour after the technician was suppose to arrive to fix my washing machine saying that it was too late and he had to reschedule which was going to be another two weeks out and at this point it had already been 4 weeks without a washing machine in a household of a family of 6. The technician also ordered the wrong parts and Sears and American Home Shield left me completely out in the cold with zero resolution and denied their screw ups and refused to order the correct parts for my washing machine. I will never recommend Sears or American Home shield to anyone and I will make sure to post and have everyone I know post on every social media platform about how awful Sears and American Home Shield are and how they have no respect for their customers.
