It's NOT the technician; it's the product!

I have a 7 year old Kenmore washer and dryer. Recently the washer didn't work properly so I called Sears. Malcolm came out to "repair" the unit only to find it needs a part that is no longer manufactured!!! The machine is only 7 years old!! It cannot be fixed and Sears won't help me!

Another runaround

John was here weeks ago to service our washing machine. He needed to order parts to complete the task. Parts ordered, arrived, and John returned. It was as if he had never been here before. Didn't remember ordering the part and said that we needed 6 if them to complete the job. When I told him that this was not acceptable, to wait another week for our repair he just said "call another servicer" and left. So now it's off to the laundromat again. This warranty company has let us down yet again. Every repair takes multiple visits over several weeks to complete. We just want our machine fixed in a timely manner. The fact that John cannot understand our frustration makes him unfit to deal with customers.

I have a 7 year old Kenmore refrigerator which stopped working which the technician diagnosed as a broken compressor. I found that the refrigerator was a LG which has a 10 year warranty on the compressor which the technician stated was not under warranty. after several phone calls I was told by Kenmore that it was and upon relaying this information to sears service I was told if I buy another maintenance policy that things would be covered in the future when they will not honor the warranty now so I am supposed to buy another contract that they will not honor in the future!!! I will never recommend this company again.

Terrible customer service

Very disappointed in service I've had an ongoing issue with washer Parts replaced 3 weeks ago and again same problem . Carolyn came out again within the 180 days diagnosed and said no problem with machine that too much soap was added and that the instructions on soap dispenser measurement are wrong it's actually half of what it says to put. My molding was damaged as well as water got in the walls I've had protection warranty which I've paid monthly protection/warranty for years and will be cancelling since you don't care and won't fix my issue. For years I've told many how great sears is and referred others to purchase plan but no more . I'm very dissatisfied and will let my experience be heard

The technician was no the problem

It was a terrible experience! It took 2 weeks before anyone came. Took a week after we called (try living without a refrigerator for 3 weeks) we waited for them to finally come only to get notice they couldn't make it so they rescheduled for ANOTHER week later!!! This 20 year old refrigerator is being piece medaled. We will probably have to call again in a few weeks. And the worst is, it is impossible to get a Sears person on the phone! I am so dissatisfied!!

Fridge repair

Your service was terrible!!! Two repair men came a total of 3 times. They said the other one didn't know what they were doing. The repair they did did not work. We ended up with a 400.00 bill for parts and labor and our fridge still is broken! How is it right to charge us for a repair that doesn't work and leave us the parts. They made a bad call and we had to pay for it! The repair man didn't care all he wanted us to do was take out extended warranty. We should receive a complete refund. We were excited at first to have Sears repair come out. We have always had good service with Sears. But you were very disappointing. We will look for help else where from now on!! Please contact me!

Bad customer service twice

Larry our tech : 1st day all off 5 min just to refuse to repair our stove. 2nd tech super nice, courteous, ordered replacement valve. 3rd tech Larry agin , rude , unprofessional in every way, refused to repair stove. I took upon myself to replace valve, and fix my stove. I hope to never have to deal with Larry again.

The guy ripped the dryer handle off looking for the model number. Not very professional !! Put it back with packing tape. Won't be calling you again

Dryer at the home of Darrell Russell

Technician never showed up, kept moving the appointment out further in the day and then reported back to Sears that he showed up and the owner at the home threatened him but he never showed up so I don't know how he thinks someone could threaten him when he never showed so I'm very disappointed with Sears service at this time I called seers and we made another appointment for Monday. We will see how that goes.
