The technician was great and did a great job. However, I don't think you should send a text expecting your customers to watch a video before the service call.

Problem not corrected

Ice maker was leaking water and freezing up so I turn it off. Since it was not on and leaking the technician would not replace it. The seal on the door is not sealing properly and since he could not see light he would not replace it. Service appointment has been rescheduled 3 time - this was the 4th appointment I had. Basically nothing was done.

Worked on washing machine.

Mark was on time and very professional. I had the area cleaned and free of debris so he could go right to work. He was in and out before I could even finish cooking my lunch!!! Thank you so very much for fixing my washer. Now I have to go to work finishing my laundry. Thank again Mark, for a great job.

Better than the last repairman!

James did not insult us (as the last guy did) and quickly discovered the gasket on the freezer was distorted. He removed it and smoothed it out. This morning the freezer seems to be working fine. BUT the refrigerator is still stuck on 60 (degrees, that is) this morning. I just NEED a working refrigerator. James was great, but we are still where we were 7 days ago!

Your schedule system is awful. The technician thinks he is god. He has to learn to listen to people. Not happy with sears service. Not recommended

Power Fail Issue not resolved

Didn't do anything to resolve issue. He keep blaming it on the heat wave and Con Edison ask in the summer for customers to try to use less energy. However this issue has nothing to do with Con Edison customer usage and heat wave. I have the same issue after I unplugged and replig the dryer dash board still do not respond to pressed buttons. When I do manage to get the PF cleared once it shows up the dryer runs for about five minutes than PF appears again. He just looked for issues. amy socket not carrying a lot of load. it's isolated to ensure there not a lot of load where my dryer and washer is plugged in.

Disappointed

When the tech walked in, he was on the phone with another client, who was clearly upset because I could hear how loud the client's voice was- so obviously upset about the lack of good service from Sears Home Services-that client had in fact cancelled and gone with a different company because of how poor the service with Sears is...anyway, the tech replaced the part in my ice maker fridge, but was clearly in a hurry to move on, left dirty fingerprints all over my freezer, rushed me when I wanted to clean the floor while the fridge was pulled out from the wall, and then didn't want to wait when I asked to make sure the freezer door would not start leaking. He also said it was going to take hours before ice would start dropping, so I had no choice but to take his word. When I asked him what do I do if it starts leaking again, he said I have to call back in to the regular number. He clearly did not care, or was having a bad day....and ....Well....my ice machine is STILL NOT MAKING ICE.

Wrong parts two times

Sears shipped the wrong parts two times. Could not install part to fix ice makes in refer. Used old existing part. Matthew was a good technician.

Refrigerator repair

Repair appointment was rescheduled 3 times after the initial assessment. Once no one showed up; the second time the technician said that he was not given enough time to do the repair and the third time the technician came but said he could not replace the parts that were ordered by the technician who do the assessment as he felt they did not need replacement. He did some adjustments but the refrigerator is making noises that it was not making before. He said to just watch and call again if the temperature goes down again. I hope that does not mean another fee and another long wait.
