James should run the entire operation
James is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have working in our home. After several no-shows this past week, we're happy James was the technician who finally came and fixed the oven. Although we were very displeased with Sears' overall service in this matter, it had nothing to do with James. Thanks. We would love to have the phone number of a live person the next time we have a broken appliance.

Tech amazing ; company suffering from industry complacency
Our tech, Jason was amazing. The five stars are for him. Communicative, kind and quick. However, for the company Sears Home Services, there is much complacency that needs to be addressed. I have attempted to use this company on 2 of my properties. Both instances, my initial appointments were no-show , no-call. After finally getting a new appointment, that too was rescheduled last minute. (I did at least receive a last minute notice for the reschedule.) It is impossible to navigate speaking to a human. When a human is reached its obviously script-driven, ingenuine, unknowledgeable interactions from a call center. The call center techs have zero interest in helping you past what their script tells them knowing their interactions cannot be traced or reported. I am thankful the dishwasher is fixed, however I will never use this company again and will advise all clients and anyone else to also stay away.
