When the tech returned to do the repair, our appliance was found to have a different issue than initially determined. Tech went ahead and replaced the part stating he wouldn't have ordered that part if he'd noticed the real problem. We are still having the same issue which is not resolved. Very disappointed in the entire process with Sears Home Appliance Repair.

Water dispenser still doesn't work nor does icemaker.

I don't know what was repaired. But the issue has always been that my refrigerator's water dispenser doesn't work, and the ice maker doesn't work. This all became a problem after I changed the filter, in August 2024. I do not know what information has been given to Jikoree but he didn't check to see if the water dispenser worked or if the icemaker was working. I hate to give him a bad rating, because maybe he didn't know what needed to be fixed. Assurant, if you cannot repair this refrigerator, REPLACE IT. If that can't be done in a timely manner, I'll have no choice except to take legal action.

GE Fridge/freezer repair

While Kareem D was friendly and polite, he did not send needed replacement part numbers to GE. I was told that GE would call me within 24-48 hrs which they didn't. When I called 4 days later, GE had nothing in their records from Kareem about the compressor failure. Now, I find out that GE no longer is doing business with Sears Home Services (Kareem), andhave to wait another 5 days to have a new technician come out and start the process all over again.

He came and said my washer is leaking because of overflow? And that it's not leaking anymore? Guess what first load of laundry done today and it's still leaking! Not a help and was lazy to actually look and see what the issue was! Now I have to call back in and request another day and another tech who hopefully know what they are doing. Huge waste of time

Feel I'm owed a refund.

Over the course of three visits, two sears technicians were unable to fix my refrigerator. On the first visit, they identified 4 parts that needed replacing; when they returned on visit 2 (two hours after the scheduled window, without acknowledging or apologizing), they claimed those parts were fine and another part was defective. I believe the tech actually broke that part. They sent back the original parts and ordered part #5. When that part finally arrived, the tech was in and out very quickly -- so quickly, in fact, that he didn't bother to plug the fridge in to verify his repair. Which didn't work. After three visits and still no working fridge, I'll be seeking a refund.
