Courteous, methodical, efficient
When "Stan" (Constantine) called to say he was on his way this morning, he noted that he would arrive within the hour. As he set up his tool box and photographed the garbage disposal to verify its model, serial number, and condition (no visible leaks or outward damage), he asked whether the disposal made any unusual noises or vibrations when it stopped working. He listened as I explained the procedures I had followed from the owners manual and that I had felt inside the cavity and felt something sharp, but the blades still would not turn 360 degrees with an Allen wrench inserted in the bottom. He repeated the process as I had described, and with the same result. Then he peered inside and located the object that I had felt. He was able to use his very long, needle-like device to remove a small plastic pin that had become lodged in the exit hole. After that, he turned on the cold water and the wall switch to the disposal which hummed along properly. He had solved the problem within half an hour. Before leaving, Stan gave me some practical advice on how to maintain the garbage disposal.

NO response to request for consultations w/Supervisor/Admin. team-those who actually make decisions- though promised a return call within 24 hrs. on 3 separate days Customer consideration needed for scheduling (+immediate alert if technician N/A +compensate for missed appointments; +shorter window of time (i.e. -7AM-12N or 1-5 pm). PROCESS is INEFFECTIVE-disrespectful; cumbersome; NOT trustworthy; lack integrity *what would be company's response if customer failed to pay?
