Terrible service, I will never use Sears again.
Technician told me what I already knew - that drain pump was not working. I was charged something like $169 for nothing. I called another certified dishwasher technician, and based on quality of phone conversation, expect to see problem resolved at a cost including parts and labor that was less that what I was charged to have the Sears technician simply tell me a part was broken.

not worth the cost
the diagnostic fee is them coming to tell you its broken, which you probably knew when you called them.

NOT REVIEW OF DONALD'S SERVICE BUT OF SEARS DISORGANIZATION
Firstly, you gave me an appointment on 18th Jan. Nobody showed up. Then you gave me an appointment on 19th Jan. Nobody showed up again. Then you gave me an appointment on 22nd Jan. The guy showed up and ordered a part. Then the part was backordered and this caused a delay. Why should I care if Sears cannot furnish the part in time? Why couldn't the repair technician be authorized to go to a local parts store and buy the part off the racks? Then the technician came today (Donald - he was great but helpless because of Sears' DISORGANIZATION) and he said the wrong part had been ordered. Again - why should I care? The only thing I care about is that my dishwasher was not fixed. Sorry Donald - this is not a reflection on you but on this company that provides appointments 2 and 3 weeks out for fixing every day usage appliances like dishwashers and cooking ranges (at my other property the same DISORGANIZATION happened with my cooking range). The company does not care that customers are suffering while not being able to use their appliances. They provide appointments based on technician availability. Which tells me they need to spend more money on keeping their customers happy by hiring more technicians to do the job and not stretch their current technicians out so thin. PLUS, the only numbers they make available to customers are those of the technicians. Cowards hide behind honest employees and do not even provide customers a phone number to reach out. What a great way of doing business. No wonder the company got washed out of their brick and mortar stores. Not much longer till the rest of the business collapses as well. They need to understand that the only way to do well in any business is to make the customers happy - to invest into making the customers happy - not to hide away from customers and count the money you fleeced them out of. Oh and by the way, this review is going on Google reviews and every other review platform out there.

Not helpful
Couldn't find the problem with the dishwasher. Did get it running and left. It isn't working now that he left. Plus, website has a tracking app to show you when technician is to arrive. Didn't work. Showed arrival time at 207, he came closer to 3. No phone call to advise, just showed up. Not worth the monthly service fee to have Sear's service plan.

Dishwasher Consultation
The technician, Mohammed T., arrived at around three p.m. The window given was between 8AM-5PM. He was polite but not really friendly. He also seemed a bit aggitated already and in a rush. I escorted him in to our kitchen. He asked what the issue is and I explained the dishwasher is leaking when we use it. He asked for the model and serial number. Yet, I told him I could not locate it. I further explained it is a very old appliance, perhaps 10 or 15 years old. He tried to look for it briefly but then soon gave up. He suggested we try and locate the numbers via the landlord or manual. The technician said he could not do anything without such information. Still, he advised we call once we find the requested information and left promptly.

I did more work than Wayne did
Your representative signed a flashlight into a solid black faceplate looked under the sink played on his phone and then told me the charge was going to be approximately $850. He did nothing to troubleshoot it, he has the wrong type of appliance on his paperwork it is not a GE, he wanted to get back to Northern Virginia it was quite obvious because before before he even started he wanted me to find the warranty. He is definitely giving your company a very bad name. Absolute waste of time, he talked down to me as a woman, and he believes me to be stupid, I sat in the kitchen and watched him.

Unacceptable for service and follow up
Ethan, Ethan informed me that in was my braker and he would enter that I needed an electrician on his report; which he told me that the dishwasher would continue to break down without this issue being resolved. Mary

i pay a monthly fee to cover all my appliances for preventive maintanance a repairs, but he still charge me money for cleaning it.............

Horrible experience with Sears
This is the third time they've come and bit been able to fix the dishwasher. It's been 7 months without a working dishwasher. Never get a Sears protection agreement! As a physician, I have to take off work to be there every time they come for repairs and it's been for nothing. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Recall should have been recommended
The repair technician came out twice. He told us we had a bad dishwasher and he had one too. We shouldn't expect it to work well like it did when we got it new. He put in a heating element. He came back again and I opened up the newly washed dishes. Steam came out and I showed him some things that were greasy. He wrote up that there was nothing wrong with our dishwasher.
