  2. Two appointments needed. Very expensive! $500+ to install a drainage pump in a dishwasher.

    First technician, Walter, was great, but didn’t have the part needed. When I made the appointment I provided the make and model # and the problem. Why no part. Second technician seemed to have no idea that he was here just to install the part. Walter pulled the bad part, showed me the spring was broken, and popped it back in in 15 mins. Second guy struggled and appeared like he didn’t know what he was doing. Wouldn’t give me his name. Took him over an hour to do a 15 min job. Wish I could rate each appointment separately. First was 5 stars, second was 2 stars so overall it is a 3.

  5. I had great service from the contractor I HAD TO GET MYSELF.

    This was a nightmate from the 3rd appointment starting in Nov. Multiple cancelled appointments. Wrong parts ordered 4 x . We have been w Sears for 45 years and never had these issues. Finally they agreed to replace the dishwasher the beginning of Feb. It was delivered March 24th. No technichian available and I had ti hire and pay for a install. Now will wait for over 3 wks to get reinbursed. Oh we have a service contract on all our Sears products. This should not happen. I had to rate several just to get it to send. Sears DID NOT do any install. I had to hire soneone.

  6. Mediocre to say the lease

    It was 2 people that came in looked at the filter screen at the bottom of the dishwasher, removed and cleaned it and then replaced it and ran a short cycle. When told that the dishes didn't come out very clean if they weren't thoroughly rinsed prior to putting them in, their response was that you need to rinse before it you want them to come out clean. I paid over 600 for a dishwasher and I need to "wash" my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. I paid over $200 for a warranty service that I was told I could get my money back if I didn't use the service. Well that wasn't true either. If this was my only experience with Sears, it would be my LAST.

    The email I received from Sears prior to the "repairman's" arrival said the person would arrive in a Sears or A&E (I think) truck. He did not. Nice, efficient man, but with the way things are today I was a bit apprehensive as to whether it was the person I was expecting. He explained by saying he was a third party. Well, ok, but you should not say he would be arriving in a Sears truck.

  9. Took FOREVER to get repairs!

    The service tech himself was wonderful. But the time for getting a water pump for a Sears Kenmore dishwasher took 4 months or more!

  10. Terrible phone support; great technician service

    It was nearly impossible to get the phone support to understand the problem, especially when two of the replacement parts arrived broken. This caused month's worth of installation delays. However, once the repairman arrived, he did a great job.
