When my Kitchenaid range displayed an F-1 readout after I had used the self-cleaning application, I was in “panic mode”because it was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. In desperation, I found your service on the internet. I made arrangements with the agent for a service call the Friday after the holiday. I thought our service technician was polite, respectful and seemed knowledgeable, However we feel it would have been more fair if, somewhere along the line, we had been asked the age of our range. Neither the person I initially contacted nor the technician in his pre-visit call, asked. If they had, they would have probably known, as I later learned, that it would be very unlikely that service parts were still available for a 30 year old range. That would have saved us a service call fee of $147.34. Because of this, I will deal with local repair people and will not call Sears Appliance Repair Service again.

I would leave zero stars if I could. This company is deceiving and unprofessional. I ordered a replacement Dacor glass top last August. The website stated the part was in stock, but after purchasing, I was informed it was actually on back order. Fine — no big deal. I waited. And waited. And waited. The part finally arrived in November. I sent my husband across the border to pick it up, paying duties along with the time and gas costs just to finally get the part we had been waiting months for. When we got home, we discovered the glass top had been packaged terribly — no foam, no padding, just loose in a box and shipped on a hope and a prayer. Unsurprisingly, it arrived completely smashed, worse than the one we were trying to replace. Despite this experience, I reordered another one because we desperately needed it. The salesperson assured me it was in stock. More false information. The item remained on back order yet again, and eventually my money was refunded. I even lost money on the exchange rate, and not once did I receive a courtesy email explaining the situation or offering an apology. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond frustrating. My advice: update your website inventory accurately, be transparent about stock availability, package products properly, and train your staff to provide honest information.

I walked in the Sears store here in the Morgantown mall however nobody was here and it looked abandoned but the store is open from 8am-11pm what is this.
