Overall, your technicians are caring and thorough. The biggest issue I have with your service is the inability to actually talk to a human. I understand you want to greatly cut costs by fully leveraging AI, but the process and customer experience only dealing with a virtual assistant is horrible. That would be the reason I would struggle to recommend. My 4 star rating does not reflect my satisfaction with your service. It is intended solely to reflect the service from your technicians. I was concerned that if I put a 1 star which really represents my feelings toward your AI system, you in turn would blame your technicians and potentially use that as an excuse to punish them (like most corporations would do). It is not your people. It is your lack of using people to create a wonderful customer experience to serve your shareholders. Does that make sense?

The repair man was friendly and helpful but the cost to put in a simple igniter was more than a brand new stove, the part was 439.00 and labor of 300.00 total 739.00 and the same stove at Home Depot was 699.00 plus tax. No brainer to buy a new with a warranty

Overall rating

Pleasant, explained how the freezer and frig worked, so there was no problems. The person that came out would get 5 stars but the overall experience is a 1 star. The real problem was getting a service call from a mindless AI system. We have an extended 5 year warrenty, went on the web site, got stuck in a mindles AI loop, finally called the store and a manager got the service for us. Human intervention was needed, not more bull from AI. The service from Sears was 5 star including the AI.8

The service technicians were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. The cost of repairs was extremely expensive leaving me no choice but to opt out and pay the diagnostic fee and attempt repair myself. The markup on the $20 part was $320.
