He gave me information the last tech did not give me, and I learned afterward that the first tech actually fixed the problem but did not tell me that. I had to call Maytag directly to find out that all I needed to do in the first place was click the circuit breaker off for one minute and then back on. That first tech could easily have told me that. He also could've told me that he fixed the problem anyway.

I didn't like the appointment protocol. First , I had an appointment which was cancelled. Second , one is dictated to be home for a nine hour period of time . Can't someone estimate job times ,factor in geography & come up with morning or afternoon ? No arrival time estimate was available the day prior . The first estimate the day of , was 1:20 . Morning wasted . I kept rechecking . It kept getting pushed back . The last one was 3:50 .

Shaun was so nice and helpful. He spotted the problem with my washer right away and was able to fix it. I was so happy to get it fixed in one visit and not have to wait for parts to be ordered. I hope that I can request Shaun the next time I need something repaired!

The technician asked me to sign forms to accept the work being done. He did not show me the verbiage on the forms that explains the possibility of damage if the appliance was moved. I only saw that later once I was sent the forms via email. Not a good move. The technician also seemed rushed to get in and get out, and did not complete the work that was promised over the phone when I made the appt (did not clean the range gasket).

Problem not resolved
The worked when he was here. I put wet clothes in there and the problem started again. Now it does make the beeping sound when it stops.
