My Rating has nothing to do with my service technicians, both Shaun and Rubin, they both gave a 10 STAR performance, which is how I land on giving Sears service a 1 star. Having an IT, Lean and Six Sigma background, their service process is BROKEN. I lost count of the number of robots I had to deal with to try and get the system to stop rescheduling me. I actually tricked the robot and somehow was able to speak twice to a person in India. Nothing worked to help signal to the right person that I had received my belt for my dryer. I ended up canceling service and requesting a new same day service call, as if it was for something different. I’m relieved with Rubin’s help, we got the dryer back in working order. I will unfortunately be demanding a cancellation of the warranty I purchased. There is NO WAY I want to work with robots who cannot think critically to solve unique customer problems and needs.

They charged $300 in labor to install a $50 dollar part and didn't even vacuum out the exhaust tubing. What a joke.

Unfortunately, after two visits and weeks waiting for parts, the microwave last 5 days and is down again. Impossible to talk to a human. All AI driven. Another technician came to inspect my microwave, it turns out that the Sears technician broke a bracket and tried to tape it. This is why the microwave worked for a day and then stopped. Again, tried to call Sears. Talked to Samantha their AI agent who hung up on me twice after I entered my phone number. Terrible service.

I scheduled 9 appointments ( which took a month and a half) to finally get my stove repaired. The repair person only showed up 3 times. The first repair man openly said he had no idea what was wrong. I asked him to check the part that was the problem but he refused. Yes , the second repair man did fix the stove however, there were 6 days that I waited over 10 hours each day for someone to show up to have no one show. Also the needed part was in stock at a distributor 2 miles from my house. Sears took a week each time to get the parts. The second time they ordered parts they ordered 4 parts that could be the problem and now 2 weeks later two of the parts have yet to arrive to my home. If this stove was not under warranty I could have spent 15 minutes diagnosing the problem with a multimeter, driven 2 miles, bought the part a spent 20 minutes repairing the stove. This is my second time that Sears proved horrible and frustrating to deal with.

I am having the absolutely worst customer service experience for a simple repair on a GE Advantium microwave/convection oven. Initial visit on Nov 20 diagnosed the need to replace the magnetron and a switch for $900+. Parts were delivered by Nov 22, but return visit was scheduled more than a week later for Dec 1 8A-12N. At 930A that day, the call was canceled and rescheduled for Dec 4. There is absolutely no way to speak with anyone, only an AI agent that only offered Friday. On Dec 4, 4 people came (2 workers plus 2 trainees) who took 1.5 hrs to discover they diagnosed the wrong part and only needed an inexpensive switch. I did receive a partial refund from my up front payment, but they were due to come today (Dec 8) between 8A-12N with ETA 904A. As of 1230P, I received an automated text message that my appt needed to be rescheduled due to "technical difficulties" and moved me to Friday Dec 12. Still waiting with a non-functioning oven after 3+ weeks and $500+ out of my pocket. If I get a response to this post, I guarantee it will be the same copy-paste for other 1-star reviews that refer me to the website or phone line, which use the same AI agent with no further support. I will never use Sears repair again and recommend you don't either.

First time when he came, he said controller is bad. Wrong parts were ordered that added delay in repair. Second time he found out that parts he wanted to replace and he ordered wrong were not even needed so now he will come third time with more parts to make my microwave run.
