First scheduled appt was cancelled only after waiting for two hours. Follow up was on time.

Even though because Sears cancelled my first appt, my tech for todays appt was pleasant, professional, diagnosed the problem, and was on time.

I hsve a stove burner, on a Kenmore Elite, in need of repair. Very friendly and informative technician. Unfortunately, the needed part is no longer available, which was disappointing. He was unable to repair a otherwise perfectly good range/oven purchased in 2009; no fault of technician. Not maintaining an inventory of replacement parts was troublesome. 14 years, is old, but for a range/oven, but not so obsolete that parts availability would be an issue.

Eduardo did a fine job today replacing parts and troubleshooting error codes. He even took a suggestion I offered based on my own research. That turned out to be the final piece to the puzzle. Our Jenn-Air microwave oven is now back in service. While Eduardo showed perseverance and humility, the other tech who has been trying to service this appliance made several mistakes that stretched the repair time to 60 days. Ordering incorrect parts and failing to configure settings properly according to the service manual resulted in unneeded parts replacement and long wait times for part shipment. Had the correct parts been ordered and the proper service procedure been followed, this repair would have taken 2 weeks instead of 2 months.
Customer service response - I'm truly sorry for the frustration caused by the extended repair time and mistaken procedures. Thank you for recognizing Eduardo's hard work and dedication.

While the entire process was much longer than what I felt was necessary, the job finally got completed. Had issues with my dishwasher and initially when they came back the first time to swap out a part, was told I had no power and that was why it wasn’t working. Second time, they had to order additional parts and it took nearly a full month for the parts to arrive. A good 2 weeks of that was them trying to locate the parts. However, it was these additional parts that did the trick. When they returned to install, the dishwasher turned on immediately. Too bad I got the run around the first time around as it became a much more expensive repair than it should have been.
Customer service response - We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced with the length of the repair process. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your feedback.
