The technician was very nice. Declared the issue with my dishwasher solved but three days later the same issue returned.

My washer still leaks in the same location, I spent $380 to repair this and nothing has changed.

I waited around all day for him to show up, I have a newborn and a toddler so the 8 hour window does not work for me. I got an email that he would be there by 8:30am but he called and said he would come between 11-3. He ended up coming around 2pm, barely looked at my fridge, was here for about 10 mins and then left saying he couldn’t fix the issue, that I would have to call GE back and have them send a GE tech. He also left no notes for GE when I did call back to schedule another service which I now have to wait 2 more weeks for without a working refrigerator. Super frustrating they would send someone out “that couldn’t fix this problem” he said it was probably the compressor but wasn’t sure, and waste my time like this. I bought this fridge only 3 years ago for over $3k.

I should like to make this review zero stars but I can't. Via American Home Shield we are an entire month without a refrigerator. The part was originally supposed to take two weeks which is already an outrageous amount of time for a family to go without a fridge, then the morning we are supposed to be repaired we get a call telling us that they are coming but because of "system issues" they will not be repairing it. They rescheduled for another two weeks out. Meanwhile, at their office in Vancouver it is literally impossible to get a human being on the phone, their system is locked down tight with ridiculous a ridiculous AI receptionist, pile this on top of the fact that you cannot get a competent person on the phone at American Home Shield and you get the worst possible appliance experience out there. Most people already know better than to call some ancient monolith like sears anyways, but avoid these guys like the plague!

Waited 2 weeks for a technician to come out for my repair. Tech looked at my wash machine and said no leak found. Charged me $180, started a cleaning cycle on my machine and took off. I checked on the washer during the cleaning cycle and there was water all over the floor. I immediately called Sears call center and they said they were sending to technician back out. A technician did not come back. I called again around 4:00pm. They said a technician would come back. I requested an email confirming this. Call center lady said no problem. Guess what, no email and no technician. I am very disappointed with the call center situation which is over seas. We shall see what type of service I get today. So far very unhappy.

Technician did not fix problem with washer. Changed a part, started washer, said “yep it works” and left before it even got to the drain cycle that was the problem in the first place. No contact info to call and let them know it’s not working. It took 4 weeks to get to this point! 2 weeks just for first appointment and another 2 weeks for the 2nd appointment to install the parts that didn’t fix the problem. Cannot talk to an actual person so it’s another 2 weeks before the next service appointment which will then require another appointment because the correct part was never ordered. Would rate zero stars if able.

Extremely rude, lack of hygiene, couldn’t communicate properly, didn’t repair anything. James was awful.
