My four year old Fridgaire dishwasher control panel broke. I have American Home Shield. They teamed up with Sears appliance service and it was fixed with great service in a timely manner and great service! I live very rural and I felt like I was in the city with the quality of care.

Polite, personable, and efficient. Gabriel explained the problems with the dying fridge and showed that repairs would exceed original price of the fridge. We paid the cost of his visit at the time of service. We paid by check and handed it to Gabriel. Months later I was contacted by a debt collector claiming I had not paid that bill. I contacted my bank and learned that the check has not been cashed. I then called Sears to make a complaint in that Gabriel had the payment in hand when he left, yet they turn me over to collections without contacting me, or apparently, the repair technician. That was a potential hit on my credit that was unfounded. If anyone makes an attempt to cash that check now, they will be charged with theft. Sears insisted that I pay again. Still, Sears has not seen fit to tell us what came of their investigation, if one was done. Now, I, a retired police detective, will not trust them.
