A technician and a "newbie" came out in April and thought the drain from my freezer was clogged so they cleaned it and defrosted the freezer. In the process of cleaning out the ice, they might have also thrown out a small metal piece. I noticed it when throwing out the ice and water after they left but figured it was something inconsequential that they broke off when removing the back wall of the freezer compartment. Sure enough, less than a month later, the same problem reoccurred. When the next technician came, he thought the issue was lack of a seal and a cracked air tower. So, new parts were ordered. Joel then came to install them but noticed the real issue was a missing piece of metal that sits in the drain so that water does not drip into the refrigerator and mess with the balance of the temperature in the two compartments. If this winds up being the real solution, which I'll know in a few days or so, then I will ask Sears Home Services for reimbursement on the parts cost, and the second diagnostic charge, at a minimum!

Lew came as scheduled, found the issue with our oven and promptly went about fixing it. This was the third time he came out for the same appliance but he didn't seem annoyed or defeated. He got right in there, diagnosed the problem (which was a different problem from the time before), and left us with a functioning oven. Thanks Lew!
