My appointments got cancelled 5 times without a reason only finding out from the service person when he finally came that he had been sick. Such poor communication. Now with a $800 charge my stove is still not fixed. Nels was fine but his company support was lousy. I would not recommend calling Sears for repairs. The new thermostat did not fix the problem so my stove is not repaired and I am being charged $800. Nels said he would come back but I am not sure he knows what to do.

he came in and within being there 2 minutes he assessed that the dryer wasn't working bcuz of a plugged up vent. He didn't do anything to see if anything else was going on with the dryer at all. He only checked if it was putting out air. He did nothing to try to figure out why it wasn't doing that. He was literally there for 5 minutes tops. I had to hire someone else and we found out that the vent was completely clear and the person I hired took the back off the dryer and found out that there was a nail in the back of the dryer causing the fan to not move properly. If this gentleman would have taken a little more time to figure that out I may not have needed to pay someone else to figure it out instead of using the protection plan that I spent a lot of money on to use for this service. I gave a 2 because my son was the one with the encounter and he said that James was super nice.

~PLEASE READ BEFORE USING SEARS~ Set up a appointment with Sears. They give a 8pm-5pm window to show up. So I wait all day. At 2pm I get a text that they can't make it out and ask to reschedule for the following week. Grrrrr. So I do schedule for the next earliest time.(10 days later) Grrrrr. Today, the day they rescheduled, I get a text at 1:40pm that they won't make it out today and will need to reschedule. The next available appointment is in 8 days. WHAT A TOTAL JOKE OF A COMPANY. DO NOT USE!!

EDIT STILL WAITING AFTER 2 MONTHS FOR THESE IDOTS TO SHOW UP AND FIX MY DRYER.. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. THEY CANT GET A JOB DONE AND THE LINK THEY PROVIDE FOR CONTACT IS WORTHLESS JUST LIKE THIS COMPANY . YOULL BE SORRY IF YOU WORK WITH SEARS! ZERO STAR RATING. Worst Service Ever. Their repair people have no clue what they are doing let alone get a job done in a timely fashion. Still waiting after 1 month for a repair on a dryer. 3 service appointments fail, can't get parts... Don't Use Sear Repair.

Scam. They took my money, didn't fix my machine, didn't communicate and didn't give me a refund. This place doesn't even exist.
