I saw that he was very competent as a serviceman. He explained what I needed to know about maintaining my appliances. The only negative was in regards to his cleanup skills. He could use to pay more attention to that aspect. I had to do the cleanup after he left. There was debris from the kitchen floor put on the counter in the food preparation area, a wad of paper towels with a hunk of compacted dirt left on my dryer and a filthy floor in the utility room where the washer and dryer are located. His skills as a technician are great. He needs help with cleanup. Perhaps he had too many calls and had to hurry through the cleanup? He left my place at 5:30 and he still had one more call to make.

Parts for the defective microwave took more than 6 weeks to arrive, but when they arrived, Patrick had the microwave repaired within about an hour.

Patrick demonstrates detailed understanding of the equipment he services, and a reasonable approach in situations in which the source of the difficulty is not immediately obvious. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why, and shares ideas for avoiding a recurrence of the same or similar problem. Sears Home Services, itself, could stand some improvement, but we like to think of Patrick as our Mr. Fixit.
