Sears charged $300 for a part that cost $23. Two months later the same problem occurred. The repair cost over $600.

One tech showed up. I specified it was a two man job. The tech has been here before so he knew that. He refused to do anything. Said I scheduled through the wrong service. I scheduled through this website. Then he said he could come back, it would be expensive and we’d have to remove and replace this massively heavy oven ourselves. Now I still have a non/functioning oven and I’m wondering what I paid for. This is worse than useless.

How about actually fixing the appliance and not string-arming people for their money? And how about having a local phone number directly to service tech? Never use this service ever again!!!

The repair was not completed because the spare parts are obsolete and not available. Tech left without repairing my kitchen stove. Also, I had 2 separate stoves at the same address on the same date and time, and I was charged for both, neither of which was fixed. Cost was almost $300 total with neither stove repaired. This is poor service.

Update: I reached out through Facebook massage as they asked me to in their reply and no one has responded. There is no way to reach a person in this company or hold them accountable. Do not use them. Our tech was very nice and it seemed like he had fixed our dryer. Unfortunately it stopped working less than 36 hours later, and I can’t get anyone but a robot on the phone. So we are out $350 and still have a broken dryer. Something wasn’t diagnosed or fixed fully. We also had to wait over a week to even get an appointment.

Randy was excellent however the Sears’ fees were exorbitant . The part online is listed at $40 and Sears charged $250. The 15 minute repair cost was $324. I will never use Sears again. In addition, my convection bake was not fixed. An appointment was made for three weeks later, then cancelled by Sears. Yesterday they cancelled the next appointment, which was another four weeks out. Poor service, unreliable, and unfairly priced.
