Poor communication, they missed 2 appts, here I am being forced through my home warranty company to schedule a 3rd. Escalated this issue, If they don't show for this one, I'm done. Sears replied to my review to call so they can resolve the issue. they give a telephone number for AI. no thanks. Issue still ongoing

There were 6 cancelled appointments. The service time I set aside for those appointments was from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. which kept me tied to the house for no reason. There was one no-show for an appointment. Late in the afternoon I was notified that a repairman will come the next day. He did and the repair was finished. It took 7 weeks to repair the dryer! Totally unacceptable.

If you don't have a home warranty don't even bother scheduling a consultation. We were quoted a price about $200 over the national average for cost of repairs. We ended up paying only the consultation fee because the quoted repair price was more expensive than buying a new dishwasher all together. The requirement to pay that outlandish consultation fee is to try to deter people from turning down the overpriced services but even with paying the service fee I was still able to save money by using another repair service

A One only because there is not a zero! We’ve been waiting for weeks to get the refrigerator fixed! After several rescheduling appointments, the technician did not know how to bleed the lines of the excessive water and reconnect them to the refrigerator, stop the noise from the compressor, didn’t fix the light in the refrigerator, and when we requested a replacement fridge, stated he did not have authorization to put in that request. This will be the third time. I have to call the company direct to make an appointment for this refrigerator. If you are looking into buying a warranty, beware !

One repairman came, told me it was the lid switch to my Maytag that was broken. I bought a lid switch for $50 and called them back to repair it. They sent another guy who made my washer smell like burnt motor for the first time ever and he said it wasn’t the lid switch but was the motor (that he had just started burning up) and I needed to replace the washer. Right before he left I asked him to drain the washing machine and leave it like he got to it, and after 45 minutes he was able to drain it(he had overheated the motor because it wasn’t working because of the timer) so I asked him to try again to figure out what was wrong and he said it was the timer and the motor and that I needed to replace the washer so I kicked him out bought a timer for $50 off of eBay and I fixed it myself. The motor is fine. I’m pretty sure they’re just trying to sell new appliances. Find a different repair company.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They don't show up for appointments, it's incredibly difficult to get someone on the phone to resolve an issue, and when you do speak with someone, they are unable to help you. I have had 4 appointments where no one showed up. Save your time and money for another business that is actually willing to help you.

You ordered a part to be delivered to my house on Sunday with a follow- on appointment for Wednesday and never showed up. You rescheduled it for Thursday and again never showed up. When I called again on the status I was told since your computer said the part was to be delivered to them, and they had not received the part, they couldn’t send a repairman back out even though I told them I had the part so I got another repair service to complete the job.

This is the second appointment I’ve set with A&E/Sears appliance repair. 1st appointment Ted M. never showed up, said I told him I did not want/need the appointment AND forged my signature for a $100 charge to the maintenance company that covers my GE refrigerator. Now for the results of the 2nd appointment with A&E/Sears…appointment was yesterday, same thing happened…Ted M. Never showed up. I waited from 1-5. A&E text said he was arriving between 5:21 and 6:25 (roughly). At around 5:36 I get a text from A&E wanting to know/rate the experience with the technician. That’s the only way I knew Ted M. Had done it again…screwed me and lied!! So…long story short!!! I will never deal with A&E/Sears again and I hope the maintenance company takes legal action ton on the forgery. The WORST experience I’ve ever had with a company!!!! I will definitely spread the BAD WORD about that company!!

Technician did not really assessed the problem and his diagnosis conflicted with an independent contractor sent to my home by my rental company. We are in the fall, and the a/c issue has not been resolved from the initial appointment set in the summer.
