Overall rating

Technician was very professional. However as soon as technician left my dryer was no longer blowing hot air. My assumption is that he left something undone. Now trying to get Sears/AES back out here has not worked. Very disappointed and very unprofessional on part of the company.

Appointment was for between 8-12. I have been waiting all morning and there has been no contact from the repairman. The phone number only goes to an automated system and you can’t seem to find out the status or talk to anyone. If you are going to be later than the time scheduled, why hasn’t there been any communication? It’s well after 12 and I am still waiting.

I called Sears February 24th they sent a tech out same day. 136.00 if we choose to use them the total would be 436.00 and would be back that Friday. Six weeks later after living out of a cooler they showed up. They put the part in and it didn't work. I called them and they said it would be a week before they could get another tech out. REMEMBER I HAVE ALREADY BEEN LIVING OUT OF A COOLER FOR SIX WEEKS. I asked for my money back they told me they would once I returned the part. LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS. I agreed to paying the 136.00 fee. But I want the remainder of the balance credited back to my account. They insist they need me to send the part back. If I could do all of that I wouldn't need somebody to take it out and replace it because I don't know where to begin I think if they need their parts they need to send a technician to take it back out. Do not use Sears appliance repair for nothing go to your local appliance store near you I wish I would have.

If I could rate 0 stars I would! I scheduled and appointment for a service to fix my washing machine WEEKS AGO. For 8am- 12pm and no one showed. When I called customer service, the man told me “the service has until 8pm to come”, I’m sorry, so what the heck was the point of scheduling an appointment!? Highly unprofessional.

Service Rep showed did not stay 5 minutes. Told us that we have to pay for the service and we have a service policy with Lowes Appliance Protection. He said it was probably the compresor and he had one on the truck but he left. Worse service ever.

Overall rating

Incomplete. The first time we turned on the appliance after the service visit it started making a noise it has never made before. Sears Home Services needs to come out and fix whatever it did to cause the noise. I’d attach a video but this only allows me to attach photos, which don’t tell the story. When the work’s complete and everything works the way it’s supposed to we can revisit the rating.
