If only zero stars was an option. The technician came out to take pictures of my fridge and ordered the wrong part and upon coming back to repair realized it and wanted to order the right part. I asked for a refund for a misdiagnosis and still haven't received it since Feb 14, 2025. You call and they give you the run around. Crooks at it's best and incompetent technician work. Do Not Use SEARS. I went with another company who fixed the issue faster for half the cost.

Tech. Came and looked at the refrigerator and said the compressor was bad. That Frigidaire was not going to cover the repair. And left.

👎Poor communication due to their AI assistant. I was redirected to an AI system just to schedule a repair, when what I really needed was a cost estimate first. The assistant asked why I wanted to speak with a real person, and after I explained, it simply ended the call. This kind of technology is frustrating and clearly leading to poor customer satisfaction and potential business loss. 📫I hope they actually read this review and make some serious improvements. ✅ otherwise they may keep losing more potential customers. As for me? I’m not wasting any more time with their AI assistant, and I won’t be recommending them to any of my friends either👎

When my refrigerator stopped cooling effectively and I need someone to service it, I was so excited that Sears had a home repair service. Sears has always had a wonderful reputation and good services. The initial appointment had a very fast turn around time and that was the last good thing they did. The all day 8am to 5pm window that you are given is ridiculous. My technician Daryl had no idea what he was doing and spent the entire consultation on the phone with his boss, who had to walk him through everything. The part was ordered and the appointment was scheduled for 6 days later. Again an all day appointment window, which meant rearranging my entire day. He shows up and 2 minutes later, I'm told that the wrong part was ordered and that he could order it and come back at the end of the week. So now we are looking at about two weeks total when the payment was made in full at the initial visit. You can reach anyone to speak with, no matter what number you call. I finally spoke to someone who of course couldn't help me, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold. After 25 minutes the automatic system said my phone couldn't be answered and hung up. I am currently back on hold, I was told the wait time is 19 minutes and that they are experience high call volumes. I wonder why?? I am REALLY regretting signing up for the actually home service program because I can already tell that nothing will every get repaired if needed. Thankfully it's only for a year but if I ever get to speak to an actual person, I will probably try to cancel.

I selected your company because you were Midea Repair. I paid the diagnostic fee $129 No fixture or parts were ordered. No way to diagnose Midea Refrigerator.

The man never showed. I received an email from Sears stating he was on the way. Then another email roughly 30 mins later starting I had accepted the necessary services, and my signature has been forged with an X on the document. This is completely unacceptable!

NO STARS!!! Unfortunately, to be able to post, I had to choose at least 1 star, but honestly negative stars should be an option for this substandard company. After 6 broken appointments (over the course of 4 weeks, that this company couldn't be bothered to keep, 1 of which they no called/no showed, & only texted me a reschedule AFTER I was on the phone looking for where they were at an hour after the appointment window had closed), they then got mad when Lowe's gave me a "buy out" because I was done with their games. So, they forged 3 documents to look like they had been to my house, given an estimate, completed repairs, and are claiming I have signed an estimate, invoice, & receipt, when in fact they have never been to my house, never touched my washing machine, never done any work, I have never seen a technician. This is criminal fraud & forgery because they are trying to bill Lowe's major money for repairs they never made, claiming that I am a satisfied customer. I have made Lowe's aware and I am seeking the correct government entity to file a formal complaint and hopefully some level of criminal charges against them (Sears Home Services). When buying anything, if Sears Home Services will be responsible for providing service...run, go anywhere else! They are criminals & I am so glad they never came to my house after all this. Who knows what they may have tried to steal from my house. After reading other reviews, this criminal acticity is a pattern of behavior for this company (after they have had a series of rescheduled appointments & no call/no shows). This company has zero morals, or ethics, they are complete criminals! DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME OR AROUND YOUR FAMILY, as they have zero conscience!!!
