Technician ran tests for which all were positive called GE Tech and learned buildup on lint filter is probable cause. While I do scrub it regularly with a toothbrush apparently it wasn’t “regular enough.” May be to purchase a new filter and start over get. Technician was knowledgeable and efficient.

Actually repair man was great. The AI that you had to go through and never get to speak to someone to schedule and follow up on parts ordered was crazy. And the AI kept changing the appointment times.

The repair man showed up, listened to me tell him about the loud thumping the freezer ,it was making wet ice and it would thaw shortly. He claimed it was a fan making the noise but I explained it couldn't have been a plastic fan making a noise that loud. He took the inside panel out and found a gasket that he claims was a factory defect and said he fixed it and that should take care of the problem. he was here about 35 minutes. If it was a gasket defect then I wouldn't have had ice for the last 5 years. the freezer wont even freeze a popsicle. The freezer is no better and I expect a replacement or someone capable to fix it asap

That hasn't been the Sears building for quite some years now it totally sucks, I have a two door refrigerator & I really need fixed like now.
