Repair man did a great job, very kind and hard-working. But two separate times this company canceled the appointment without me even knowing about it. I had to take two days off of work because they give you an 8 AM to 5 PM window for when they will arrive. Sears can do better. #1 Sears, you have a lot of work so there's no reason to run so shorthanded and run your repair men ragged. 6 to 8 jobs a day is ridiculous for each man to have to take care of. #2 for service calls don't have a call center overseas where the person has such a heavy accent that your customers can't even understand what they're saying. Do better!

After two visits by the tech, my AC is still not fixed. I was told by the tech that the thermostat was bad, but he didn’t think the plan covered a thermostat. I called Sears, and my plan does cover the thermostat. They proposed another appointment 12 days away, which would make roughly 3 weeks with my AC not working in 90-100 degree heat. At this point, the plan does not appear to be worth the monthly cost.

Sears Home Services is a fraudulent scam. I’d give it zero stars if I could. No service company should keep people on hold for hours and transfer them back to the original phone tree after a certain hold time to start all over again. I wasted 10+ hours of my life and still couldn’t get the service needed. After sending them a letter and turning it over to my bank as fraudulent, I get to wait 90 days to get my money back. Still waiting.

Horrible, horrible service. 30 minutes after he left the heater did not work. I called the service department and they did not help me at all. They hung up on me. He noted that it was a 3M product. When I called 3M they said they do not have that serial number and it was not their product. I’m insisting on getting the $226 back as a refund
