Unacceptable Insurance practices

Very dissatisfied with my experience. I have for MONTHS been trying to get my air unit worked on using CcMCINCH Home insurance I purchased through Sam's. In April I paid the $120 service fee but unfortunately we could never agree upon a date for MHI to send someone out to repair or replace my air conditioner unit which is what I was told would happen when I brought the insurance. So I found someone else air to start work on my unit and they replaced my outside condenser. Then I thought why could I continue to pay for a home service that is not working on my problem so I called them again to come out and analyze my problem and to repair or replace my unit. This time they sent Sears (it took two weeks) out to repair or replace my unit and but the repair stated my unit was to old and that since I replaced the condenser outside they would not repair or replace my system. I STILL had the original condenser in my garage for him to see but he said that it haf to be attached to my home when he git here. I believe that MHI never intended to repair or REPLACE my unit but uses that statement to get customers to buy their insurance.

LG Fridge Ice Maker

The service tech was fine. The process to have the repair completed was horrible. I had to call both Sears and the Home Warranty company 7 times each, sit at home waiting for service tech multiple days. When no one would show up I called and was told the part was on order when in fact I told them every time the part is sitting on my counter. This all started on June 5, today June 17 they finally completed the repair.

Bought my range 1 month ago brand new. This man saw 1 roach and said my warranty wouldnt cover the non working oven because of that. Ive had a frdge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot and deep freezer for years and they still work very well. Never buying GE again and i will be contacting my lawyer.

Fridge repair

A real nightmare dealing with Sears on repair of refrigerator. Wrong compressor sent. Confirmed appointment was missed. Phone contact # on websites wouldn't work. It was next to impossible to actually speak with a real person. There were three reschedules. Each one required at least another week to get tech back. I have a long history of dealing with Sears sales and service. Never again. Service Techs , however were competent.

I don't know if this was because it was a home warranty call, but the tech only seemed interested in charging us, covering himself via forms we had to sign, and not actually trying to help or solve the problem. The home warranty company noticed this too, because they set up a second opinion for the next day.

Rating but no one showed up

I had a large window for repair guy to show up 7am-6pm I've been home all day and now I get a text to rate my technician. Well I will no one showed up or even called. Seems like a bad service to me.

Took way too long to complete the repairs

Emilio was good. The problem was the service provided. It took over 8 days to have a technician arrive to investigate the problem. The technician (not Emilio) did a cursory diagnosis determined the motor was bad, ordered the motor with a 1 week delivery (motor was available many places online with a 2 day or less delivery for the same price). Motor arrived and another 3 days to get technician back onsite, removed the motor and found other parts needed ordered again with 1 week delivery. The motor should have been removed on the first visit (had to be removed anyway) and it would have saved 10 days in completing the service. Waited another 4 days to get technician back onsite to complete the repairs. Taking 3 days off work waiting for the technician and 30 days without a washer is unacceptable for service that should have taken less than a week is not acceptable. There is no sense of urgency. I will never use Sears Home Service again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Very polite very professional but completely misdiagnosed th

Very annoyed because I paid over $100 for a service to diagnose the problem with my dishwasher. The tech however very nice did not diagnose the problem. And had a proceeded with the quote to change out the controller I would have paid over $600 and still had a broken dishwasher. There was no apologies from Sears.
