He was courteous and seemed to be knowledgeable. I was concerned about the drops of water left on the dishwasher that was going to be put back under the counter. He left the towels for me to clean up and I had to ask him to dispose of the old part. * I will add that 7 months later it is working perfectly. Thank you.

The two different technicians that came to work on my appliance did their job by diagnosing the problem and on the follow up to install the parts. However, I waited 2 months for the parts to arrive. Sears kept pushing the date further away as to when a technician was coming. After complaining multiple times to Sears and American Home Shield, a “ conversion kit” shows up at my house. Sears once again says the parts won’t arrive in time and reschedules for the technician to come. I then go through the nonsense of telling them my parts are here and I need the technician. Technician arrives to install new parts and after 3 hours, the conversion kit doesn’t work. Technician finally reports back that it can’t be repaired and needs to be replaced. I even told them multiple times original parts were no longer available for my dryer. Also when you try to contact Sears you can’t talk to a real person, only get AI. All in all the technicians did their job but the parts department and customer service of Sears is absolutely terrible.

Fridge has been dead for a week...finally came out after canceling the day before to tell me the part that needed replaced could get here till the next week, at least they told me what part "might" be bad, found it on Amazon for $24 OEM part, (theirs was $140) and will be 2 day shipping....there's a reason Sears tanked.

What a Gong show. On our Samsung refrigerator they came 5 times ordering a part each time. Now they ordered and installed the wrong compressor. Arrived to replace it but parts never arrived. We have been told not going to do anymore work. The warranty company will buy you out Which will not cover getting it installed Calls to Sears were not helpful and they refused to put us in touch with the manager or company in Texarkana who created this mess New We have several calls with management at their Hq. They take NO responsibility for installing the wrong part. State contact the warranty company. Who has all ready paid for the wrong part. Sears expects to be paid for another service call and parts

Sears has been to my house 7 times to look at my washer and “fix” it over the course of 2+ months. Multiple times that they had to come back out to my house was a result of the previous visit not being completed by the technician. Many of the visits could have been avoided if they would have done the job in its entirety instead of half way doing it and having to return out. When they installed the motor they only installed it half way so it stopped working after one load, one time they just didn’t put the washer back together and it was leaking water everywhere. When they ordered my parts it took over a month to come in and I called everyday for a week with no actual answers or resolve. I was told by AHS (home warranty company) that my washer would be deemed as needing to be replaced due to so many visits, however when the technician came out last time he reported “yeah the AHS tells the customer they will replace it but we have to fix it if there is a part to replace”. Each time sears came out they charged $175 for labor plus the amount it took for parts. They made more money off of AHS in the course of 2 months than if AHS had just given me a new washer. This was a waste of time for myself and for AHS. AHS could have avoided this by having a different technician company come out or communicating with sears better. We will see how long this last “fix” will work and I guess continue this awful process when it breaks. I will reconsider using AHS in the future for my home warranty because of this awful experience, I will not being using sears if it’s up to me. I have spent more money at the laundry mat, and had to miss a total of 7 days of work in 2 months…. At this point I could have purchased a new washer with all of the money I am out now from missing work and going to the laundry mat. When it was all Said and done I still have the same washer that I was told to “be careful because it could break easily” by the technician who would not agree to deem it as needing a replacement when the home warranty company told me sears would. This process was ridiculous and unprofessional. Maybe this is a sears problem and not a technician problem, I’m not sure but I do know this was the most ridiculous experience.

The worst customer service. Do not expect them to come out in a timely manner. Our fridge has been broken for a month. Our appointment has been cancelled/rescheduled four times because they overbook their technicians. If you live near the border of their services you will be scheduled last every single time. The only options to reschedule is a week out from your original date. Their service tracker is not accurate and you have to jump through every hoop to talk to a real person. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would.
