Disaster Service
In the begining of November I called First American Home Warranty to open a sevice request on my Refri in the kitchen. The refrigwas freezing everything in the refrig and making a very loud noice coming from the back. Affordible Appliance came out and just vacuamed the back of the refrig. Immediately upon his departure the noice started up gain and the refri was still frezzing. I called AFHW again and they sent out Sears to analysis the problem. The tech replaced the freezing problem buy told us to receord the loud noise coming from the back. two days later we had a louder noise and it was recorded and sent to Sears. Sears came out again and stated the noise had to be sounding another to treat. Again immediately after the tech left we had an even louder noise. The noise has increased and it is coming from the compressor. This calamity of events has been going on now for 6 weeks. My tenant is very upset. All I want is what I paid for a good running Kitchen Refrig.

Terrible Experience
Edward seemed to purposefully not follow directions as to which unit to work on. I instructed him which one, by opening the attic and pointing in the direction of the unit, plus describing to him it was the one against the wall. When going to check on him 20 minutes into the job, I found him working on another unit, then re-instructed him which one he should be working on. My wife also went up and did/explaine the same. I went up again 5 minutes later, and I found him attempting to work on yet the 3rd unit which was clearly not the unit both my wife and I had instructed him to do. As a result, we asked him to cease work, close up what he had open, and to leave…to which he complied. We request that he not ever be assigned to our home for any service work in the future.

Poor communication
If i could give zero stars i would. Didnt stick to appoinment time and didn't communicate about showing up early.

This service sucks
John and technicians were great but sears sucks and America home shield sucks. Can't put it any better than that. Looking for a different home warranty provider because you are awful and I wouldn't recommend to anyone . Have a great day

Was not happy with the whole experience
I was not happy with any part of the service!! It took to long to get the initial appointment (over a week an a half for an A/C that wasn't working). After his visit he said he had to order a part and I would have to go back on the schedule which took another week!! Jose called on the day he was supposed too show up and informed me that the part didn't come in and I would have to go back on the schedule and wait another week! The whole time my downstairs A/C wasn't working in Texas where it was in the upper 90 degrees!! The next week he called me at around 5:00 on the day he was supposed to show up and informed me that the part didn't not come in again!! I was very upset because on all of these days I had to either take a day off of work or rearrange my whole schedule and he doesn't give me any advance notice of this part not coming in!! I feel someone should have allowed him to order the part from somewhere else so I didn't have to be without A/C for a month!! I was not happy with any part of this service and your customer service was no help either, you could not talk to a real person because it was all AI. I finally talked to someone because I told them I needed to make a payment and finally I got to talk to an incompetent person from another country that just keep telling me that the part was available and I just had to wait for in to come in!! I feel just because you have a home warranty doesn't mean you should get inadequate service!!!!!

Terrible service
He wiped up my floor with my dish towel and ruined it. Who does that? He pulled my dishwasher out from the cabinet and damaged th cabinet where it fits into. He does not know what he is doing and has no regard for personal property.

Fridge does not work
Repair tech said nothing was wrong and to unplug for 2 days which we did. Fridge plugged back in and still does not get cold

Sears sucks
Gabriel did an ok job with the repair of my dryer. He scheduled me several days later for my range repair, as a part needed to be ordered. The day of the repair comes and is rescheduled without prior notice. Trying to get a human to answer Sears Repair is impossible unless you state you are opening a new repair request. I was transferred to tech support, scheduling, and customer care departments without a satisfactory resolution to my problem

Save a trip
Technician was courteous. I was not too thrilled to pay for a service call just to be told that Nothing could be done. When making the appointment the model number was requested along with the problem. The model number was submitted as well as the statement that the touch pad was not working. I could have been told at that time that the touch pad is no longer available.

Gabriel Review
Gabriel didn't solve the problem and did not return to finish the job. He reviewed the dryer and vent, found that I had the energy setting on that probably caused the wet clothes at the end of a cycle,. He left while a drying cycle was going and said he would call to see how the dryer performed. He did call and I told him the dryer was still giving an air flow error!! He said he would stop by to switch the washer and dryer so the vent tube could remain unbent to improve airflow. He never showed up and didn't answer my texts. Gabriel was pleasant to work with and I don't like leaving a bad review. He definitely didn't make my call a priority. Maybe he had other issues he was focused on but should have been honest with me. A customer should not be left with no solution or followup. I won't be asking for this companies help again and won't recommend you. I called because I trusted the SEARS name. My uncle used to work for Sears and I'm disappointed. I would like to request a refund since nothing was fixed.
