After Sears rescheduled 5 appointments on the sixth one Juan showed up and replaced the ice maker. Two more appointments (one of which Sears canceled on me) and Ernest, a supervisor, was dispatched. Ernest connected the two wires that run the on/off switch for the ice maker and it started working. So finally after 8 appointments, 6 of which Sears canceled on me my ice maker appears to be fixed. Ernest resolved the issue in under 30 minutes I really wish they had dispatched Ernest first; it would have certainly saved me an enormous amount of time and aggravation.

My Sears technician diagnosed my challenge immediately. Sadly they do not carry compressors on their trucks. The part (still under warranty) was shipped to me in less than a week. I did have to pay the labor upfront (Sears’ policy). They scheduled an appt to place the parts 3 business days later. He brought an assistant. They both wore shoe covers. They were efficient, professional, polite, and clean. Very pleasant to deal with.

Our repair specialist was fantastic! He took our ice maker out of the refrigerator and since our part replacement was broken, he fixed the original one and reinstalled it. Very happy with the outcome.
