Service was very fast. Unfortunately damaged was beyond repair so they are supposed to bring out a new replacement unit.

Ralph was here 4 hours on Monday, December 15, 2025. He went and put the belt on the dryer and door. Still would not work. He took the dryer apart and went through everything that had previously been replaced with new parts. I felt bad for Ralph having to take the dryer apart again and go over everything that he could do. He deserves a 5 Star for his expertise and time to try to fix the dryer. But he could not fix the problem.

Technician did a great job. However, I had to reschedule the appointment because the technician could not get in the house the first time because the house is vacant and there's a lock box with the house key in it and he did not know the code. The reason he did not know the code is because for three days I tried to get in contact with Sears to tell him the code, but was never able to talk to a person. It is impossible to talk to a live person when you call Sears. You get their automated system or you get an AI assistant and I left a message with the AI assistant and it did not get to the technician. Also, I tried to put the note on the account page with Sears about the lockbox but when I hit update, I got an error message every single time I tried. I am a landlord and I live out of town so I'm not able to be at the house so that makes it difficult if you have notes for the technician when you cannot get in touch with them. Sears home services really needs a phone number with the option to talk to a live person.

The technician was unable to service our unit. Our home warranty company did not inform them that it was a mini split A/C unit. They were kind and courteous and apologetic, even though it was not their fault.
