Very disappointed in today's visit. Had to wait over a week just to have someone come for my warranty claim, only to hear that although my motor is going to breakdown in 1 to 3 months there's nothing that can be done because it cannot be replaced until it breaks down. Living in Houston with the weather feeling like it's between 110° to 115° daily, I have to hope when it does break down that we will survive.

I DID ! I will post again as I have been asked to respond to “Xanthus G” Whoever that is. I am the widow of Shannon Flynn. I am Vicki Flynn giving this review. To begin. I had asked that my husband‘s name had been taken off of this account and had to have my name to properly reflect the ownership. My initial complaint of a refrigerator that was over freezing. To date I have received nine filled appointment. Several other appointments were a “no-show”. I have also seen Six technicians with a variety of repair products. I have had to wait for the products to come to my home and then call again to schedule an appointment which is taken anywhere up to six days to get someone back to see my refrigerator I have also paid over $500 in deductible and repair parts. Being assured that my policy could be canceled without endangering, my “180 day“ Guaranteed repair, I did cancel my policy be aware that I had paid, but the payments on this service for over two years. Please add this letter post , Knowing that I have spent over 45 years as a Sears customer But I would like to see this post on the general Internet Vicki H Flynn

On 06/26/2024 Sears tech replaced the part he ordered. After having it 2 days with the doors closed (technician’s recommendation) the refrigerator does not make ice. The problem was not solved.

1. I got a message saying technician is on the way. Message did not indicate when technician is arriving. Awful communication . 2. My daughter was out at the grocery store and returned when the technician was about to leave. She told him to go into the house to take a look at the fridge. But he refused. I couldn’t believe it. The reason was that he closed the ticket. Exemplary customer service . How do you all expect your business to flourish when you you don’t care about customers. Absolutely horrendous

I have had home appliances tech. The one who came to inspect the issue was awesome. The one who came to repair was terriable. Supper snotty and not compitant. He Had to check with lots of resources to replace the bad part because it just wont turn on after replwcing the parts. Of couse will blame it to someone else.. He finally finish replacing the part and said the work is completed and it works. ask me to check back 2 days. So far the fridge hasnt cool down yet. Will see.

Service technician was very nice. I am very disappointed because the whole reason that I requested this was to have them clean out the mold and gunk inside the gasket of the washing machine. I told the technician that and he says oh they don’t do that. They just tell the customer how to do it. Online it says that they do that so I’m not sure where the disconnect was. So I basically spent $120 for nothing. All he did was empty the water thing at the bottom of the washing machine and look at my dryer to make sure that it was drying OK. Again, extremely disappointed that they did not actually clean The gasket with the mildew in it, which is the whole reason why I had them come out. so I will not be using Sears again for this period

All he did was replace a fan and the refrigerator worked for about 24 hours then went out. The next repairman did a more thorough check of the refrigerator and found three things wrong with the refrigerator. Don't know if its just a coincidence that the parts went out later but the initial repairman never pulled the unit away from the wall and check it out completely like the second one did.

I have been a long-time subscriber to Sears Home Warranty services, but unfortunately, my recent experiences with Sears Appliance Repair have been far from satisfactory. Over the years, I've noticed a decline in both the quality of their work and the expertise of their technicians. It's become a frustrating cycle of replacing the same parts every 11 months, which is not only inconvenient but also costly. One of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with Sears Appliance Repair is the lack of communication options. It seems impossible to speak with anyone without being hit with a service fee, which only adds insult to injury. What's more disheartening is their apparent lack of interest in truly troubleshooting the issues. Instead of thoroughly diagnosing the problem and offering a solution, they seem more inclined to make assumptions and push for the purchase of new equipment. Overall, my experience with Sears Appliance Repair has been disappointing, to say the least. I expected better service from a company with such a longstanding reputation, but sadly, they have failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I will be exploring other options for appliance repair services in the future.
