Mario was great. Service was great. Price was very high for a repair that took less than 30 minutes. Parts $109 and labor $350 - excessive to any reasonable consumer. But I needed the appliance fixed in a rush so paid it.

They did not repair the oven door. They claimed that we put something heavy on it and that made it so that it stayed open. We did not put anything heavy on it, and the service tech didn’t believe my son, when he told him this.

The repair person showed up on time. However, after all the questions I answered prior to their arrival to only be told there are no parts for my machine was disheartening. And then to have to pay for a service call to be told there are no parts and a replacement is needed, then why come out at all, unless it was to pad your pocketbook with frivolous service calls. I gave 2 stars only for the on time arrival and professionalism of the tech. You really should receive negative two stars for a) wasting my time knowing my machine had no parts to it and b) taking 130 plus dollars from me, which I could have put towards a new machine. Do better.

Technician by Choice Home warranty, they left after 2 mins, reason is that they don’t fix this type of HVAC. Can they check for informations before coming out ? We stay home been waiting for whole day.

DO NOT GET A SEARS WARRANTY. The company has switched to all "AI" (virtual assistants). There is no way to speak to an actual person. I was charged the $100 service fee in advance of the repair man coming. When he arrived he was unable to proceed until I paid the $100 service fee - I showed him my receipt and my online Visa card which clearly verified that I had already been billed but because he was also using "AI" he had to leave without performing any service. I spent an hour trying to get a live agent on the phone and it wasn't until I selected "billing" that I was able to speak with a person. It is horrible and as soon as my repairs are complete I intend to cancel this service. If I was able to give zero stars I would.

Beware of Sears Home Services. If you can get a technician to your home with the part, you'll probably be fine. BUT if you need help, per the Sears "AI" phone assistant Sears Home Services is an "AI only company and has NO ONE you can speak too". In my case I had an appointment for a technician to come install the part and no one showed. I spent HOURS on their website and on the phone with the AI going in circles. About an hour into the mess the phone AI tells me my scheduled appointment is next week. This was news to me as I had heard nothing from Sears. The AI was able to reschedule much earlier which then begs the question why was the appointment rescheduled for so far out? Very frustrating. I'd cancel and call a local repair company, but, oh yea, Sears makes you pay up front. Admission: I'm an old man and was reminiscing the old days of the great Sears and their wonderful service. This isn't Sears. After this ordeal I did some searches for reviews and my experience seems to be quite common. Fooled me once but never again. Part 2: After submitting the negative review, I was pleasantly surprised to find an apology from Rob B. at Sears. He even included a phone number if I needed further assistance. Touched I dialed the number and shouldn't have been surprised as it is the same number for the AI with no ability to help you resolve a problem with their service. Then I went back and reread many of the other negative reviews and found the exact same response from Rob B. Duh: Rob B. must be an AI (call me gullible). So the Rob B, (I mean AI) response apologizes and states "This is not the experience we want for our customers". Well if you spend lots of money to design and implement a customer service process that only uses AI with no escalation path when their service has a problem then I submit that Sears in fact does expect their customers to have this type of experience. On top of this Sears looks to be using AI to respond disingenuously to negative reviews (again with no option to escalate) which is insulting. If my bank account was in better shape, I would cancel my request on principle and eat the price that I prepaid and hire anyone else.

Kevin did fine. The process was horrible. Other than the initial evaluation to repair my ice maker there were 3 4-hour windows with me "on call" that produced nothing. Will never use this service again.
