Waste of time

Kenneth was nice and I could tell he wanted to help, but, said even though I had the wiring harness, he didn't know how to install it. I don't understand sending two different men out, that told me they didn't know how to fix the problem. Sears shouldn't take on a company (magic chef)that they haven't been trained to work on

Long wait for refrigerator repair

The anticipated arrival kept getting pushed back again and again. I spent a whole day waiting - technician finally arrived just after the original arrival time frame. Although he turned off the valve and we hope that will stop the leak in the supply pipe, he was not able to do a repair because "we only do appliances and we don't do plumbing". We will need to start the process again with a plumber.

Not very personable. I ask him to call when he started to my home, but he refused, he said he was too busy. I had two dogs to pen before he arrived and it is too hot to pen them from 10 to 2 his time. When he arrived, it took both of us two pull refrig out from wall and when he left he did not help push back in place. He would not replace cover on back of refrig said he did not take it off. I had to replace the back and it is hard for me to get up from getting down on my knees and then struggle to push refrig back to wall.

How frustrating

I was scheduled to have service on my new dishwasher last Thursday, 4/2. Nobody showed up asks when i called the rep told me they couldn't even find my appointment. We rescheduled for today, 4/6, after 3pm. I made notes on the web site i was sent to that i cannot be home until after 3pm. I made another phone call to inform the rep again that nobody can be home until after 3. This morning while i was at work i got a text message that the two was on his way. I called him and he said he could not do anything to change the service time. I do not know how else to say this, but I CANNOT BE HOME UNTIL AFTER 3. I have already had 2 appointments (one which yall lost, one which you ignored my needs) and my brand new dishwasher remains untouched by yall and unusable.

Unexpected behavior

Very rude. Didn't explain what was wrong with my stove. He just out the new stove top on and after putting it on notified that the burner was out. After taking out the broken part of the stove he just tossed it into the box and it made a huge crashing like sound. He notified me before leaving that there was little pieces of glass all over the floor that I would have to clean up and left the broken part of the stove here for me to toss out myself.

Ice machine repair

The technician arrived but had an issue with getting in. After asking him to go to the front he was able to get in. Calls me after says he's diagnosed the issue but cant order parts for this machine? Why, he said he can't even contact Scotsman for parts, I again ask why and try's telling me some of them hide the parts so can't order them.. What.. He told me what the problem is and what part is needed but will not order the parts to complete the job I hired Sears Home Service to do. Very disappointed.

I have escalated this with GE Customer Support. The technician was extremely unpleasant, almost menacing. Before we could even get started, he asked me to sign an electronic document, of which I could not see the text. Kenneth was visibly annoyed that I requested to see such document and when I asked him to ask his back office to see if they could supply any document I'd sign, he left and slammed the door. My lovely tenant told me that if she'd been there alone she would have e felt very uncomfortable. I have over 40 doors in Lamar County and I would not want this person to atep foot on any of my properties again.
