I had three 10-year old appliances: GE dishwasher, GE refrigerator, & Whirlpool washer. Larry took a look at all three, even though the dishwasher was the only one on the service request. He advised me of what the problem was with each and the cost of the replacement part and labor. Since the dishwasher and washer were each needing parts at about $400 plus labor, I decided not to proceed with the repair. I preferred to get a new dishwasher and washer. Instead. So, I just paid for his diagnostics on both. The refrigerator's problem was the ice-maker had a plug in the water supply from ice, as a result of recent extended power outage from Hurricane Beryl. He freed up the plug, checked rest of unit out. I paid for his diagnostics and repair. None of my appliances were still in any warranty. Total charges were about $250. I am totally satisfied. I highly recommend Larry, a true professional.
