Scheduling system and both technicians are 5 star. Warranty length is unacceptable for extent of repair. Due to the almost non existence of a warranty for a very expensive repair, will not use Sears in the future. Otherwise, Sears would be my go to repair center.

Tech asked me if there was a code error. The first repair call did not indicate a code. After believing it was fixed, the next day I tried my dryer and immediately something suged and a code F01 was indicated. I called to have someone come back out. Tech indicated that the control board was fried, unable to be replaced as part was no longer available. So, I had no choice but to purchase a new dryer. If there is anyway to secure an adjustment for the first service call that did not address the real issue would be appreciated.

Repairman came in replace the ice maker and left. Took him 5 to 7 minutes to replace the part. The closed the freezer and left.

Getting conflicting emails from Sears and Wright’s Appliance Repair. Sears is, once again, confirming the washer repair by Wright’s Appliance Repair on October 29th. On the other hand, Wright’s has cancelled the October 29th appointment and has rescheduled for Friday, October 31, which is impossible. I have relayed this to Sears on several occasions and Sears has not contacted Wright’s Appliance Repair regarding the issue. I’m not sure if I want to keep the repair service with Sears. There is no way to talk to anyone at Sears. If Wright’s Appliance Repair does not come today as confirmed, I will take my business elsewhere.

The agent was Pleasant on the telephone however he came 15 minutes early and I was not home from work yet. He was unable to wait, which I understand. However, he told me to reschedule through my home warranty company. I then called Sears and they said that was incorrect. I also read the notes that, the technician left indicating that I told him I would not be home for one hour. I did not appreciate that because I did not say that to him. Because of this, I have to give a low star value because he was dishonest.

Was asked to have a morning appointment and was not honored. Technician arrived 345P. Striking a conversation and asked if he has any more appointments afterward and said, one more for the day. Was 2nd to last appointment for the technician. Boy, the time frame needs to be better than 7AM-6P. That's a lot of waste of time for house owners. When asked about the front border plate ordered when it was in all good condition, he had no idea. Keep this in mind, he knew about the outer border plate and had just finished replacing the internal keypad and plate. When asked to go replace it since it was ordered, he had the look of I'm not interested/tired from all previous jobs because he would have to remove several internal components and redo what he had already replaced. He stated, just keep it for later as a spare part (over $100). So, the first technician did a diagnostic and ordered something that wasn't needed and billed my Home warranty company. Just wondering if SEARS is ordering replacement parts for the heck of it to bill the insurance??? Sounds like a profit for SEARS.
